Really you sure....Imagine this you pay for flight ticket. You go to airport and get the news your flights delayed by 4-5 hrs. That is okay we will wait. 4-5 hrs doing something or reading or watching movie at phone time will pass. After waiting then the news comes flight is cancelled. What will you do? For whom were you waiting for those 4-5 hrs at airport.

I think you should buy the tickets for others on cancelled flights. Do you even know how long does it take to get a refund. Surely your experience on flights is negligible or you may be a Jet airways employee .

Why cant people just talking patiently and calmly. People love shouting and screaming, this is why we have not moved forward. "I want to be first, I must get this and that" if your suffering then resolve it yourself, claim from travel insurance. shouting gets nowhere. I have watched so many clips and all shouting and not making sense. Silly really, don't know why this mentality.

Abizar Dholfar intact you need to research before commenting... Airline charges fare based on dynamics and mind they are charging least possible because of competition..look at railways they charge what they want as no competition and moreover you feel travel is cheap on trains bcoz railways gets subsidised fuel no navigation charge no parking fees no miscellaneous charges which are imposed by government on an airline besides airport development and other tax which are imposed on passenger directly. It's government who is playing with taxes to make railways look cheaper when compared to roadways (toll and miscellaneous taxes on fuel)and airlines (already elaborated) otherwise railways can't compete ...

naresh kumar I think you should have done more research before making such comparison between railways and airlines. Airlines take on only profitable routes whereas railways have to guarantee service even to the remotest part in the country. Airlines don’t. Airline won’t fly you if the flight was unprofitable whereas railways would even if you were the only passenger in the train or run empty.

Further it is airlines responsibility under international rules to feed the passengers if the flight gets delayed by more than certain hours. Some passengers could have been diabetic, cardiac problems etc. I feel such comments are coming from people associated with the related airlines. Why is there no airline representative who has power to take charge of the situation?

Plus it's the responsibility of airlines to mention that particular flight is cancelled and no need to wait in airport. They made the passenger wait for 5-6 hrs and then said flight is cancelled.

Passengers don't understand what an employee of an airline staff goes through. They try their level best to serve passengers and make their journey comfertable. Certain cancellations are not planned. Observe passengers at foreign airports. They never create such rucksack. Because the law in other country is very strong. If a passenger misbehaves with an irline staff the he or she will face legal action against them. law in our country should be in favour of airline staff If a passenger misbehaves. Passengers use abusive and harsh language against staff and they just walk off as and sometimes they even raise their hands.Hope so some law is made to protect the airline staff when they face such unpleasant experience.
