Now, i know what air we breathe in our flights, if i understand it correctly. Thank you so much for a detailed explanation. I'm a fan off all aeronautics things. Greetings from Santa Rosa-La Pampa-Argentina.
@makantahi37312 ай бұрын
that's right, you are breathing air that has passed through the engine compressor and it may be slightly contaminated with engine oil, which is not exactly healthy, but if you don't fly often, it probably won't have any health consequences, unlike crews who constantly inhale it

Do you have to perform calibrations on your torque wrenches at any point? I'm curious if there are tolerances for torque that must be followed and if it requires calibration records on your tools. Thank you for another great video! Super interesting.

Awesome vid as always Zeto. Just a quick question, am I mistaken or is ATA code 36 not pneumatic? I know 75 is engine bleed air, or do certain systems including this one also fall into chapter 36. Currently studying in Puerto Rico to become an AMT. been loving watching your vids and getting a more in depth look at all the things i'm currently studying. Keep up the amazing work
@BigMedley2 ай бұрын
36 is for the bleed air fed pneumatics that supply other aircraft systems like 21 (air conditioning), 30 (anti-ice), and others. 75 is also bleed air but anything that it does is in service of the power plant itself instead of supplying pneumatics to aircraft systems beyond the power plant.
@carlosa.acevedo74662 ай бұрын
@@BigMedley Awesome, really appreciate the clarification. Understanding those code differentiations should help out a ton in terms of searching for the correct documentation and in the correct place. Have a great one and thanks again 🤙🏼

is there any separator for oil vapors that could appear in that air due to engine oil leaking from one of the seals. it is known that it is not impossible for this to happen, so that very toxic oil is mixed with the air that goes into the passenger cabin. there have been cases where whole crews are dazed from it and some pilots and flight attendants stop flying because they become permanently ill
