Pulse jets are super cool. I love how simple they are. I would like to see one with cooling fins maybe machined out of one solid piece. I know that would cost an absolute Fortune but damn that would be cool to see

You need ceramic around the tube where it is getting hot, that will put the heat towards the front of the test tube, i have used this before on different applications.

Nice, will it make a difference if you snake the gas line in a copper tube around the engine to heat the gas before ignition?
