It's our first full day in Sweden and the kids don't wake up until after noon! We try liver paste, rope swings, swimming in the lake, playing football (soccer) with the locals, and enjoy the parks.

🇺🇸 When my family traveled to England and Spain, I was almost five. Now, fifty-some-odd years later, what I remember most is the small things, the statues in the parks, the taste of some of the food, the pigeons, playing on mosaic patios, but not the actual "tourist" type of things. I say this because the younger kids enjoying the water, the playgrounds, they may remember that more than seeing special things for tourists. Are you finding people speak English? It is the universal language but that doesn't mean everyone can speak it. LOVE seeing the country! 🇸🇪

The liver paste is in our US stores as braunschweiger. My Dad loved it and so I grew up eating it. So good on buttered toast! Sweden looks beautiful-makes me want to add it to my bucket list!
