Once upon a time in China 2 - watched it a godzillion times. The first spar with Donnie Yen is the second best staff/weapon fight scene ever in cinematic history followed by the best staff/weapon fight scene in cinematic history at the factory. This type of choreography is truly a lost art !!!!

I was in my early 30s when I watched all the serials in the cinema in the 80s,90s. I am 64 now and still going through all the amazing fight scenes again and again. Just love it so much. My favourite one is in part 1 @04:15 where the music in the background makes the fight scene so intense.❤❤❤

Awesome Fact of the Day: The dual pole fight scene at 20:00 between Donnie Yen and Jet li was not choreographed. The director actually let them spar for real. Donnie Yen actually got smacked in the face and still continued to film the rest of it. GOAT.

Yes it was most differently choreography. Donnie Yen just got hit by accident. Happens all the time in the Hong Kong movie but actors don't stop and wait for the injured to heal the just continue with the movie
