In 2006, it was the saddest tragedy ever, he told people how to protect the stingrays. But going under water to catch one, was his tragic death. The stingray stabbed his heart and killed him. being from florida as a jet ski rider/racer, there is no danger in riding in a place with gators. as long as there is a motor running in the water from boats, jetskii's or whatever, the gators will never come around
