Jet Streams: Location, Formation and Effects | Geography NCERT | UPSC 2023

Jet streams are fast-flowing bands of air that circle the Earth at high altitudes. They play a major role in shaping our weather patterns, and they can have a significant impact on our climate.

Linear velocity is directly proportional to coriolis force applied on it. So more speed means more deflection!!
