Came up lovely but don't waste your time with pre treating when your going to pressure wash afterwards, pre treat with some SH after and rinse just to get rid of any striping, oh and get a harness and rope set

Great result there well done. What about water penetration at the joint or damage to the tiles. Is this ever a problem?

francis patton never had any problems mate I only pressure wash from the top angle so should not leak at all

Francis, even if water does get behind/underneath the tiles the felt underneath is or should be waterproof so it will just run right down and into the gutters.

Too old tiles you can apply sealer that would be the option

Best to leave well alone, water ingress will happen and cause wood battons to rot
