I think it's a 757 as the ailerons are quite long and nearly reach the wingtip ... if I have it in mind correctly the 737NG wing has a smaller ailerons

we had heavier than that last year, it felt like we dropped from 30 feet and hit the runway with an almighty bang

Those aren’t engines! Plus, Jet2 have never operated a 4-engined aircraft... this is a 757-200.

You can tell this is a 757 because it taxied around the loop at the end of the runway. If it was a 737-300/800 it would of just turned around on the runway.

heavy landing, not exactly turbulent. Try hitting an air pocket over the north atlantic at 37,000 feet, and the plane dropping like a stone for what seemed like ages, then shuddering violently as it hit the air again. I thought my number was up that ay and we had another 10 hours ahead of us to LAX.

Pretty sure thats a 737

737? It's very obvious that it's a 757-200. Can't you tell by its wings?
