Jet2 Boeing 737-800 | London Stansted to Salzburg *FULL FLIGHT*

Hi all. So last weekend we decided to visit one of Austria's two main airports for winter ski charters! This one being Salzburg, the busier of the two. So here commences a nice early morning start, trying out a new airline for me, Jet2! And my first flight from Stansted of 2018
Regarding Jet2, they are alright. One thing I primarily didn't like was their no electronic device rule for take off or landing! Most airlines will allow you to use electronic devises if they're in flight mode etc, but Jet2 were quite strict with this rule in implicating no use of electronics whatsoever! Fortunately for me I managed to get away with it as the crew have to take their seats for take off and landing, so I got around it, but still a daft rule if you ask me
Other than that everything else was fine, I didn't purchase a snack or drink onboard as I had eaten in the airport. I did purchase something on my return flight with Jet2 though. The red mood lighting was nice, it felt like we were in an adults night club, but it was quite nice to have the red mood lighting, the legroom was perfect too, and I had the entire row of seats to myself, which you can't complain about!
Regarding the flight itself, the annoying thing is the weather was rubbish at both ends, raining at Stansted, and heavy snow at Salzburg! Fortunately it wasn't too bad at Stansted, but Salzburg the visibility was extremely poor so unfortunately most of the approach is just in the clouds, until about 40 seconds before touchdown. The blizzards stayed with us for most of the day

Very nice! Looks like Jet2 is a rather classy holiday airline in regards to the beautiful sky interior and lovely cabin crew :-) I’d be glad to have a chance to fly with them in the future.

It is extremely beautiful! I went with Jet2 from Birmingham (BHX) to Alicante (ALC) cabin crew was lovely, pilots were sound.

"Please don't consume alcohol bought from the terminal during this flight, we want all customers to enjoy being on board together" in other words, give us your money instead of the terminal despite all of the hidden costs already in place to begin with 😂

Dom Brown Jet2 do this because everyone would be drunk onboard which means disruptive passengers, it will reduce this.

Jet2's policy is no electronics whatsoever on take off landing, which is pretty stupid in my opinion, have a nice trip in August :) Naples is on my list of to dos

I went on a 737 jet 2 plane last Friday. when I went to Greece. and I really love jet2 I hope they stay a good airline for a long time. Not a rubbish airlines like Ryanair Monarch never went with monarch it must of been a bad airline as it went bust Ryan air still not been with them but I know there bad as there always on strike the airline losses money

Monarch was a great airline. Ryanair is making all these cool airlines go bust. Next time I go on holiday I am using Aer Lingus. In my opinion Aer Lingus flights are cheaper than Ryanair flights.
