Crazy how ppl nowadays don’t know all digital inflight entertainment used to cost money! I’m not even that old, but as a kid I still remember paying that $7 for United’s directv offering which, as of now, is horribly out of date anyways.

Loving how your cinematic style of trip report is going. Your mix of shots and music, along with the straight-up detail is great. Those interiors shoot me back to my first B6 flight in 2016 (E190 DCA-BOS on my first visit to the US). It seemed old back them, even worse on an A321 BOS-MCO in 2019 - the updated A320 back to BOS was such an improvement. But this flight looked overall fine. I must say the DD coffee partnership is why I always have ginger ale on my B6 flights - but at least they don't serve STarbucks!

How funny that we uploaded a video on the JBU E190 this same week, it’s like if we coordinated beforehand 😂. The E190 will be missed, it’s one of my favorite aircraft types and I’m happy that JetBlue gave me the opportunity to experience it all these years. Sadly, they already pulled them out of SJU where they had a bunch of them based for years and transferred them to JFK and BOS😢

So far I had flown on JetBlue 3 times. I had a great flight experience. The service was really good & the flight crew was very helpful. The only problem I had was the gate number was changed a few times & a flight delay, when I was going to visit my family last summer. Still, I'll continue to fly with JetBlue. It's one of my favorite airlines.

MCO is generally known for being a nice airport, but that new international terminal looks great! Fun facts: * the code MCO is a flashback to the airport’s previous incarnation as the McCoy Air Force Base * the main terminal is based on Tampa International Airport; both use a hub-spoke design but Tampa’s was built in 1971 and Orlando’s in 1982. * The main area actually is the hotel atrium * As the gateway to Disney World, it’s the busiest airport in all of Florida (yep, busier than MIA!) * it has four runways

It's a really comfortable plane imo. Understandable the IFE doesn't work great - they were amazing when they first came out. Only thing would be nice would be upgrading the wifi bc it's always poor on the 190s.

Why do they turn off the light's in the cabin is it because it s a later afternoon-evening flight? I ask because I have severe anxiety and need to have the lights turned on for the 1 hour 8 minutes flight from NY to Nantucket. Appreciate if you could provide any info you have.

I flew on an e190 from LGA-JAX and I gotta say the best thing about the flight besides going to the new LGA for the first time was how comfy the seats were. Old allbeit but really good besides the IFE being a piece of garbage the flight back was good too on a newly refurbished a320 but it had a left hand side window seat going into LGA that didn't actually have a window aosdjosiajdosijad

The technical details of IFE systems. Or how airline passengers connect to the internet while in flight. You would be offended if I had spent time on that. Good idea to disconnect.
