It is always good to try new kit, see how it fits your systems for various trip types. I do my camping from sea kayak only, otherwise it is campsite with all kit in my car. Hence, weight isn't a consideration. I have a medium pan for frying, what you call a skillet. Usually it is only fried breakfast which is done in it. I have a plastic lid which also is sieve and cutting board. Three functions to use whilst doing camp cooking of all meals. I don't like coffee, just makes me too wired. Never sleep if even one cup early in day. Mint tea is my choice.
