Tull taught me so much: I was mixing the sound on this tour and also recording it for the 'Little Light Music' album. So good to hear / see it again :-)

That's amazing! I didn't see the tour but I LOVE the album. Great mix, super clean recording with a lot of soul. Congrats. Tull is my favourite band (along with Cardiacs and Zappa). Cheers mate.

That’s one of my favorite Tull live albums - and Under Wraps probably my favorite track off it.

I Saw Tull in 1972, 1974, & 1975. What spectacular shows. The level of musicianship was breathtaking. I still have the photos I took!

I love it when musicians just PLAY - no fancy gizmos or heavy beats, just pure, unadulterated sounds, enjoying what they are creating. My kind of music ♥

Out of over 100 concerts I've attended in my lifetime, Jethro Tull, backed by Uriah Heep - Boston MA 1978 - was my favorite!

It's a bummer we'll never see a Tull show again, as we knew them. So much music poured out of this band in all it's variations. I feel bad for the people that never "got it."

In '71 I got into two composers, A to Z, Anderson and Zappa. Haven't left since.

The Under Wraps arrangement is wonderful - and a reminder that there is a lot of good music on that album - I think it's just the drum machine and synths that turned people off. I grew to love it and still do.

Well congratulations. I LOVE Tull. So underestimated. I know they were so fussy about the sound being perfect al\ways insisting on best equipment and engineers so you must be a great engineer. Well done - you must be proud to have worked with such a great band. What were they like as people???. Anderson stikes me a s a genious with deep feelings. I wish you were around to mix my bands over 30 yrs. Always a problem and so much in your hands

@decapitatespammers Totally agree - saw Tull a couple of years ago, Ian is totally grounded but the man's talent is quite unique - he's awesome. The audience obviously contained a large amount of life long fans, some of whom knew each other and the band, so it was like being within a huge group of friends.

@KingHellstrings You're right... Live albums that are "polished" in the studio later end up with mysteries like these. Have you noticed that two songs(Under Wraps and John Barleycorn) were mixed from two nights of recording? If you listen to John Barleycorn really closely, there is a hint of a second electric guitar that seems like its not supposed to be there.

Funny, to me Under Wraps was the last classic Tull album in terms of song writing and lyrical approach, never mind the flat synthiness of the production. I never warmed to the later work, except for the occasional tune (Root to Branches, say).
