Great job on one of the coolest of cool songs ever, you could write a book on the depth of this song alone, and a totally awesome visual statement to compliment it..this is most greatly appreciated..

Would never guessed this is a Tull tune.

it's more Mick Abrahams dominated on this song than Ian Anderson. Ian's flute is nowhere to be heard. This may be why Mick later left to form his own band , Blodwyn Pig. Mick wanted to rock the blues, while Ian wanted more conceptual folk-rock-protest with flute solos. He also wanted to make sarcastic statements on modern religion (which he did on "Aqualung") and stuffy operatic plays (which was "A Passion Play"), while "Thick As A Brick " tackled politics and religion on one 49 minute song. I don't think Mick wanted to do any of those concepts.
