Very good, thanks! I also pack (roll up) a small, empty cross body bag which I use when I reach my destination... very handy for phone , money etc when sight seeing😊!

I love seeing younger women doing this! I pack in a TNF Jester and can fit everything in for 10 days and still take a straightener and a mini blow dryer, but so many people I talk to think they can't. I get it if they don't want to, but this just shows anyone can do it.

super great packing video. I understand that it's just about the clothing options but I would really like to have seen anything else you would have packed, like the toiletries/phone/electronics/camera ect. just to see how you fit those items in too

In 5 that’s a great idea, perhaps I can do a video showing how to compact those items too! Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it!!! :)

I love this video - I watch it on repeat. I have practiced packing in every larger purse I have ( I have quite a few) and I have really enjoyed it. I have 6 bags that would work great for this. I have used two on my last vacations and they worked great. Thank you so much for the ideas!!!

I actually pack lighter being a “fashionista” I wear a lot of thin flowy dresses & athleisure wear. So they all lay/roll flat allowing me to pack more in the toiletries side of things!

Heck, you can go for awhile if you’re willing to go to the local laundromat wherever you’re traveling. Also, I’ve noticed in every packing video I watch with a girl in it, they always mention makeup. I hear that and I’m like “lol I don’t wear makeup” and start thinking about my more necessary toiletries, like a toothbrush or maybe pads if I’m on my cycle. Ooh, actually, if I’m on my cycle, I might want to consider some travel-sized Diva Wash as part of my liquids, even though I haven’t gone on a flight since eighth grade. And I have a car now, so the only reason I’d need to go on a plane is if I’d be going overseas. I’ve never been outside the US before.

What about your tablet or laptop or a book to read on the plane.. or your phone
@JetlagLiv5 жыл бұрын
Cheryl Wyschinski I am usually able to put my phone in my purse as well. If you start by putting in the tablet or laptop you should be able to pack around it with ease! I tend to carry my textbooks, books etc. on flights just for my convenience!

Roll them tightly into cubes or bags ,try to fold and roll neater to prevent creasing , you should really of used the cube for the clothes and a small ziplock for the undies. Good idea in principle but you didn't pack well at all! it made me cringe the way you folded and rolled, there isn't 11 outfits, it is a few items of clothing, you rely on using the shorts and jeans several times to make it into 11 outfits ...
@JetlagLiv5 жыл бұрын
Ti Jay it works well for me-I’m a simple gal what can I say! Thanks for the tips, I’ll try and keep those in mind. I also bring Downy wrinkle-releaser for clothes so I can roll them any way and not have to worry about creases!

That is the point of the video, though. She’s using multiple clothing options to get the more outfits out of fewer clothes. When I went to Oregon last year, if I packed an item, I had to be able to wear it two different ways, or it didn’t go. I used a color palette throughout my options, so that I could mix & match all of my clothes. I took two pairs of jeans, two pairs of black leggings(I wore one on the plane), one pair of navy leggings, and a pair of black pants for 3 weeks. Each top I could wear two, or even three ways. For instance, I packed a Kelly green cardigan that I could wear casually with a green/navy plaid shirt, and jeans, or the navy leggings. I could also wear it with a dressy white tee, and black pants for church, or out to dinner. I could wear the plaid shirt without the cardigan, and with a white tank. I could wear the white tee under a few other shirts, or on its own. We went in March, so I wasn’t sure about the weather, so I did check a bag, since I had to pack some heavier clothes. I ended up not even wearing all of the clothes I did pack, so I could’ve taken even less than I did. I’ve always been an over-packer all of my life, until I learned about using a travel capsule wardrobe, and lots of packing hacks(including using packing cubes), it was a game changer for me!
