you can build one for around 6k if your resourceful. All I have left to get is the hose. I made my boat from fiber glass, sourced a used 220hp outboard, grabbed a 1000gpm@50psi (4' feed) pump from ebay for 2 grand, 25gal fuel cell. motorcycle throttle, jet ski safety cut off, 60 ft of throttle cable, wood, foam and some other stuff. I should be getting around 600lbs of thrust at full crack. The hardest part is making the backpack - but if your clever its not bad. this summer will be great.

I believe this toy works just like a jet-ski, so i don't think you have to worry about them fishes ;) it probably have some sort of filter :D
@gema24413 жыл бұрын
@SpecialEdAllstar It looks to me like they are using just a lightly modified jetsky with a hose attached to its nozzle as a pump (a jetsky is basicaly a wather pump) and a remote controled throttle ( you can build the remote out of hobby shop and easly adapt it to the jet sky). Other than that of the shelf pipes.

That looks like a lot of fun... they better not let me "test drive" that in an open space, because they'll never see it again. mwah ha ha...

There are models out there that do the same thing that only cost around $7,000 USD and they also have hand thrusters so you can be a baller like Iron Man, even on a modest budget.

@kayakfrog I can't find any pics of the inside of the boat, but i did read that it's a 1500 marine (jetski) engine with a big jetpump, so nothing that honda, kawasaki, yamaha, honda or seadoo couldn't built for under 25 grand, because that's what it's worth when you look at the materials what it's made of. The bigger question is, are there enough potentional buyers to put this thing in production?

I agree......This thing is horribly overpriced (although awesome). I don't see why this thing should cost any more than $20Gs Turn key with a warranty from a dealer. My thought is you could get 70% of your components from a used jet ski. Plus use the jet ski hull........to house your components.......I would think the jet drive would provide plenty of thrust and pressure. Pushing an 800 pound jetski and rider 65 miles an hour would be plenty of power to lift a 250lb person 20-30 ft in the air.

How can you love human beings, when only a few human beings love you... if you just feed a dog it will love you forever with out ever judging you and will never leave your side... that's why non reasonable animals are better becasue they aren't cruel, they will never judge on how you clothe up and they will never judge if you have money or not, they will just love your inner you, simply put, human beings are disgusting, why would you have the power of reasoning if your just going to waste it

Well good for them. That's what there here for after all. This toy is no different than any other water craft. They all kill fish and such, always have. I imagine even the sailing vessels of old, killed a few big fish and manatees. I'm always thankful to the Good Lord, for all the tasty animals he provides to " keep me alive", as you say. I love animals, but love human beings much more. Keep it in perspective ! That's always the problem with tree huggers, and animal worshipers !

I definitely understand what your saying, but YOU ARE a human being. So unless you plan on turning into one of these fish, show your own race respect. You talk about judging, but are you not judging @bwayne641 on his opinions and his ways of life because there not what you think a "right" life style is? Live how ever your going to live, believe in what ever your going to believe in, and let others do the same! Just like the animals do.
