Y'all making me feel old! I placed my first JetPens haul in November 2006! I found you guys through some pen spinning forum (I was/am still such a nerd). My order a Dong-A Comssa Sign Pen, Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip, Uni-ball Signo UM-100, 2 novelty pens that my girlfriend at the time wanted - one had a duck bobble and another had a cloud bobble, a Uni Whitia correction pen, and finally a San-X Monokuro Boo pen pouch to put everything in. Everything on that list has been discontinued except the Uni-ball Signo UM-100 and the Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip. JetPens was still just kinda starting up when I made my first purchase. I have no regrets supporting the business throughout these past almost 17 years and I'm sure for more years to come! Lolz. At first I was thinking, "How on earth do they remember the first order they placed?!?" Then the 💡 went on: order history (doh!). 😂 My first order was a Kaweco Classic Sport fountain pen in chess black, plus the TiNY Kaweco converter and a pack of midnight blue cartridges. April 2017. On my first order I did a shared order with someone else for shipping reasons, but the ones I got for myself was; mild gray mildliner, pastel set mildliners, black/grey tombow fudenosoke brush pen, coliro watercolor (pearl), some windsor newton watercolor markers, warm gray copic marker, 2 white poscamarkers and some sakura glaze gel pens. It was in 2016 so it was in the middle of my 2nd year of artschool I think! I had just started my first bulletjournal (which is why I got the mildliners) but I also used a lot of the supplies for my art, I tried inktober for the first time that year and the brush pen came in handy for that. I've not ordered since but I've been watching this channel for a few years now and I'm very tempted to get some beginner fountain pen supplies, but I've also been using the channel to do research when I've been buying stationery for studying korean.

According to my account history, the first thing I ordered from Jetpens was in 2018. It was a bunch of loose Stabilos that didn’t come in the original 20 color set and the 8 pack of metallic Kuretake Fudebiyori brush pens 🖊️ I don’t use the Stabilos regularly anymore, but I still have them and amazingly they still work!

Josh’s customisation of his pen blew my mind, it never occurred to me to change the clicker colour. My only purchase has been the missing pens from the Zebra Sarasa Milk set; originally I got the smallest one from a local store and I wanted the rest but I couldn’t find them anywhere sold separate, except on JetPens. Gotta be honest, the shipping was way more expensive than all the things I got (I actually paid more for shipping😅) so… yeah. I know I will do it again because some things are really hard to get where I am, but it will be just like a “special ocasión” kind of thing.

My first haul was 10/29/21. It had a pilot varsity disposable fountain pen in black, a 1.0 dong-a anyball ballpoint pen, a 0.7 zebra sarasa clip gel pen in black, a blue maruman kurufit B5 binder, a dayflower blue apica c.d. Grid A5 note book and a black A5 dot grid rohdia webnotebok. My most recent order was a nakabayashi clear 2 and 3 compartment organizer, a blue tombo mono stick eraser and a refill and a jet pens die-cut sticker to add to my jetpens sticker collection. My first order was January 2016. I ordered a Tombow Mono Zero eraser and all the Pilot Color Eno mechanical pencils (blue, soft blue, red, green, violet, pink, orange, yellow). I still have some of that discontinued lead like Jen's!! I had been gifted an adult coloring book for Christmas 2015. I didn't like that I couldn't color into the small corners of the designs, even when constantly sharpening my colored pencils. So I started an internet search for colored mechanical pencils. Ahhh, JetPens to the rescue!!! I loved them so much, I bought a second set a few weeks later for a friend. Then I started designing my own planner as my kids got busy with activities. Eventually I found the Frixion multi-pen. One pen, separate colors for each person in the planner/calendar. Organizing took a whole new turn and I've never looked back!! Having the right tools makes SUCH a difference!!

This is so fun! I looked back in my emails and my first order from JetPens was super small. the Pentel Graph Gear 1000 Drafting Pencil in 0.7 mm and the 8 color bundle of Pilot Color Eno Erasable Lead in 0.7 mm. To this day my Pentel Graph Gear is my favorite mechanical pencil. I love the weight of it, it's comfortable to hold, and I love the reaction I get when I tell people it's not a pen but a pencil.

I got my 1st order last year: a red 0.2 Preppy, Frieda and Emma SketchInkm, Rohrer and Klingner Scabiosa, Noodlers Polar Black and 3 colors of Zebra Serasa 0.3. I think it was pink, orange and light blue. The inks were all my 1st time trying the brands and colors. But I got a black 0.2 Preppy in a local store in person as my "1st" fountain pen :) That store let me try it out first. It was nice, but I moved. My true 1st was a kit with all 4 Paralel pens (before Pilot released pink and light blue)

Wait, what....there are stationery shows?! Apparently I've been missing out, though it's probably a good thing since my first order through JetPens was close to $100 on pens alone. Was looking for a multi-pen for school and stumbled upon an article where people were discussing and posting pics of their favorite pens and saw pens galore. More than a few mentioned the site and it was a kid in a candy store effect, where the one exploded into many. Lol, I was stunned at myself, but had no regrets. I found the stationery Shangri-La I didn't know I had been seeking since those elementary Back to School supply days.

My first recorded order was in 2010, but I think I had placed one in 2009 or so, unless it was a gift ordered from JetPens but by someone else. The 2010 order was a Lamy Safari with a converter, Noodler's Black, a Uniball signo UM-151 in Bordeaux Black (0.38) and a UMR-1 0.38 black refill. The signos are still my go to pens to this day!

My first Jetpens haul was a pile of blue shimmering inks (Dominant Industry Lapis Lazuli, Colorverse Cat, J Herbin Bleu Ocean), a Twsbi Eco in glowing blue, and some Colorvers Quasar. My most recent was a couple of Doughnut backpacks, some nib units that didn't actually fit the pen I bought them for (oops!) but they should work in the Twsbi, and a few notebook parts (a shitajiki and a cover in A5), finally a fountain pen cleaning thingy. I've been making a point of buying stationery from Jetpens instead of Bezos whenever I can. :)

My first JetPens order was in June of 2020. I picked up my first fountain pens, a green kaweco sport, and an all black perkeo, and a few small boxes of kaweco cartridges in different colors. I did go through at least one box since then, and learned a lot about my ink preferences. Unfortunately, I lost that sport at work meeting last year, but I did replace it with the limited edition dark olive. The perkeo still lives on my desk, even if I'm in my stub nib era and it's a fine.

I ordered and got my first JetPens haul at the end of May this year! I got interested in journaling, and then since I love collecting pens that write well, found the JetPens site, and it was all over from there, haha. I haven’t used a fountain pen in years but looking over them all on the site got my interest going again. My first haul I got: a Uni-ball jetstream .5, a Kiki’s Delivery Service shitajiki, a Morning Glory sketch mechanical pencil and leads for it (interesting shape!), an Arch foam eraser and since I’m getting back into sketching and art, a tachikawa nib holder and G and Maru nibs for it. And last but not least, a Platinum Preppy fountain pen to get back into writing with ink and nib. I‘ve been trained in pen and ink sketch with dip pens, but I also love to write, and fountain pens seem like an elegant way to meld those two interests. I just made my second order, and bought a converter for the Preppy and some violet ink. Can’t wait to ink up!

My first purchase was 02/20/2016 and I bought the Uni Style Fit 3 Multi Pen Body plus green, brown black, and violet refills as well as the Platinum Preppy Fountain Pen with Blue Black ink and Extra Fine nib. Oh man, I'd have to go back in my email archives to see what I ordered the first time from y'all! I do remember one of my early purchases including a Lamy Safari EF and giant bottle of Aurora Borealis ink. Thankfully, I've since converted to broad nibbed pens. After a bit of digging, it looks like my order was in January of 2022 and included the LAMY Safari Aquamarine with the EF Nib, the LAMY z28 Converter (I'd picked up some bottled ink elsewhere) and a pack of LAMY Violet Cartridges. A month later, I added the LAMY Safari in Violet with the M Nib, a set of LAMY Blue-Black Cartridges and a Pilot Frixion Multipen to my list. As a calligrapher, G nibs are one of my favorites! But they are definitely tricky to get the hang of... And by the way, was the Pochacco pencil case a translucent purple plastic? If so, I think I had the same one!

I was about to head to my second home in the EU to my husband in Denmark. I wanted a new planning system, but did not want to lug around my old Franklin Covey binders, plus I just hated rings. I watched a few videos, one of them yours about Japanese planners. I thus bought an English version of Hobonichi, hated it. Too small and wanted the Japanese cousin instead. I also got a B6 Jibun Techo to try. I liked this better, but again would have loved an A5. Since I was buying mid June 2020, stock was pretty limited on your site. I know I bought some pens, one being a platinum preppy blue black ink. Which i quit using for a bit, but recently went back and found it. It could still write after over a year on the shelf.

Actually, my first JetPens order wasn't too long ago, I think back in September of 2022 for my birthday. I got the Doughnut Macaroon Reborn in Chestnut, the Kokuyo Piiip Tool Pencase (beige), Kokuyo Mark+ DualTone limited edition Island colors and a pack of Kokuyo Sarasara B5 paper... Yes, Kokuyo, mostly only Kokuyo ahaha, all of this to start my University year (I've bought stationery here from small businesses, there's when I first got my Kokuyo Smartring notebook and more! But stationery is very limited here, sadly) I've been doing more orders since then! It's a bit complicated to do it because of my country, but JetPens is so worthy!

26 Nov 2013 (Australia): Hi Tec C Coleto refills in Apple Green, Cherry Pink, Apricot Orange and Aqua Blue. This was when Hi Tech C came in a million colours and I was trying to collect as many as possible even though they were mostly discontinued by the time I realised they existed. I have found some colours in markets stalls in Seoul, some on trips to Tokyo and Sydney ... I ended with all except one (Mauve, I think).

My first order was in November of 2009. I got a Kokuyo FitCurve Mechanical Pencil - 0.5 mm because I’m an engineer and, at the time, was doing a lot of math deriving equations for radar systems. I’m also dyslexic so I need to erase a lot so I love the large twist erasers. I got it in pink to remind the guys I work with that I’m a woman who can engineer and do math. I also got refill erasers, because, well, see above. I also got a Kokuyo Systemic Cover Notebook, A5 size, in red and gray to match my new red Kia Soul - the last vehicle I owned that was manual drive - because vehicles need notebooks. But I only write while parked, I never write and drive. I don’t know where that pencil is, but the notebook has been in several cars and is now safely stowed in an orange Ford Maverick. My others still contain a lot of mechanical pencils and notebooks!

I feel like we know each other! "Because vehicles need notebooks..." cracked me up. My issue with the twist erasers is they go back down in the pencil while I'm pushing on them to erase, but I love the pencils so much I buy them anyway. I pick up mechanical pencils I find on the ground at school (where I work). I keep the lead and any parts that are salvageable in a pencil box on my desk. Students know they can get lead, erasers, or parts from me. It adds a bit of fun to school and kids think it is funny to meet an adult that nerds out over mechanical pencils.

Kaweco Liliput (Steel), Kaweco Sport (green), ink syringe, Kaweco Palm Green ink Cartridges & Royal blue, along with a clip for the Liliput. Ordered in 2018. I ordered the Liliput because I wanted a replaceable nib, since I didn't know what size I would like. Also, I had been carrying a Fischer Space pen for years, so I thought I would take a chance on it. [Ended up not liking it since the Liliput is really only compatible with Cartridges.]

I also figured if I liked using a fountain pen, I could upgrade to a gold nib later... Plans changed. I reach more for my TWSBI 580, which I purchased many years later. You can't beet a 580 w/ 50 bottle.

My first order was 3 years ago in august. I got the lihit lab smart fit large pen case in green, Pentel clena in mint green and saxe blue with black and blue ink respectively in 0.5 (refills for those), a zebra sarasa clip in 0.5 milk green, a zebra del guard type-gr in mint green (I love the color green), eraser refills for those, a sun style stickyle box cutter in mint, a Sakura arch foam eraser and a Pentel petit-corre correction tape in 4mm x 3mm. The correction tape did not work very well and I don’t use it and I unfortunately lost the mint clena (though I bought another one) but the rest of the items I still do use ( I used up the arch eraser ) My favorites were the clena the pen case and the eraser, 10/10 recommend

Oh gosh my very first order was in 2010? A blue themed nomadic pencil case (don’t quite remember the model name) with 2 mechanical pencils (I forget if it was pentel or pilot), 2 uni propous highlighters, 2 uni ball jet streams, one of the knock erasers at the time. Loved them and although I stopped using them, when I do pick them up, they work just as good as I last used them.

I opened my JetPens account in May 2012, but my first order wasn't until February 2020. I bought Stabilo Boss highlighters because my local stationery/art supply store didn't carry them, and a set of Pilot Hi-Tec-C pens because that store couldn't get me the G-Tec pens (which I really wanted) and only carried the Hi-Tec in blue, black, and red. I wanted ALL THE COLORS!!! 😂 Prior to the pandemic, I didn't like shopping online. I got over that real quick! 😂😂😂

November 2008-23 items. Mostly gel pens, especially 0.4mm Slicci and 0.5mm Hi-Tec-C. At that time the Hi-Tec-C pens came in the Yawaragi colors: beautiful subtle floral shades. I loved the Slicci pens because they were so slim and I could fit a lot of them in my pencil bag. Very few of the items I ordered are still available. I would love to see those lovely Hi-Tec-C colors again.

Rhodia paper is the best, love it, have never used anything I liked more! I think the warehouse needs a lazy dog (I’m a dog person.) My first “stationery” beyond crayons, etc, was personalized stationery (for letters) with an embosser to emboss my initials and address on the envelopes. Christmas present from my parents and I loved it!!! First “special pens” were the erasable ball point pens that came out in the early 1980s…we were only allowed to write in pencil because it erased…now we had erasable pens!!! Yay!!! My love of really fine tipped pens came around the same time when I found an “extra-fine Bic Biro” laying around somewhere…I thought, where have you been my whole 10 years of life, fine tip pen?!?! You had to hunt for them, but once I found out they existed, I bought 12 packs of them (this was pre-gel pens and roller balls…I hate ball points and roller balls now that I have a choice, lol, it’s all gel pens and fineliner felt tips for me!)

I had a friend’s whose dad was an engineer (probably where I found the ultra fin bic pen) who had a bunch of Pentel super fine felt tip pens for doing engineering drawings…and we would nab them all the time! The regular ones are good, too, and I almost bought a big set of them yesterday, lol!

@@mollymollie6048 I remember my first pen love. I was with one of my parents at the bank, I think Mom, and she was sitting by the banker's desk. They discussed whatever boring stuff they had to discuss for what seemed like forever. Then the banker asked me if I wanted a pen. He opened his bottom drawer and there was a box of click pens, each individually wrapped in a plastic sleeve. The smell.... I'll never forget the smell! Each pen had the bank name on it. Most intriguing was the opening end of the pen was slanted, not straight. So depending on how you held it you might see a regular amount of the tip or, if you turned it a bit, it would seem like you could barely see the tip. It was SOO fine point!! I still remember the banker's name!! (45+ years later!)

@@penelopefp That’s awesome! What a great memory to have. I imagine that the bankers liked fine tipped pens for ledgers and things like that before computerization of everything (or even after…) Lol, I love the smell of some pens, too…especially those big permanent Sharpies, lol! I love fine (like 0.5 or less) because I have smaller handwriting that just doesn’t look good with larger sized pens. I’ve always loved handwriting and worked hard to make mine be pretty and unique, cause…stationery nerd, lol, and so it doesn’t look so pretty with “medium” pens. My husband thinks its hilarious when I go all “look shiny!!!” in the pen part of any store…cause you never know where you’ll hunt down a really cool pen!!

@@mollymollie6048 we must be related!! 😁 Fortunately I work at a school so I still "need" to go back to school shopping. I am picky enough that even when Hubs wants to buy a souvenir pen (Yellowstone, Disneyland) I pass. If it's not a pre-approved, fine point, perfect gel pen I'm not wasting my time on a medium tip, ball point pen no matter how pretty it is or where it's from. 😆 (pen snob!) For my planner/journal, I bought a ream of nice resume paper. Office Depot will spiral punch about 100 sheets for $5. Designed my own calendar pages, habit trackers, to do list pages. Print from home. The spiral is easy to take out, rearrage or add pages, put the spiral back in. Perfect pens. Perfect layouts. Joyful experience writing and organizing!

I am wondering if you guys can share with us the type of containers you guys use to store your notebooks and such? I am trying to be a bit more organized with my products like washi tape, fountain pens, ink, and some of the writing utensils. However, I just have so much imo and I am not sure if the Muji acrylic boxes with 2/3 drawers are best or not. I have a desk that is connected to a four tier shelf where the inner top shelf is the desk itself, but can tuck away some of my stationary. Please help ^ ^;
