The "human hands" thing is huge, the reason there's a huge crossover in tech nerd/stationery nerd culture is that when you work with digital all day, analog is refreshing! The AI bundle really shows off that it's a LANGUAGE model, not a knowledge base - people recommend the (superb!) Lihit Lab bags and the (not superb but damn good for price-point/availability!) Mildliners all the time, so they're more likely to be found in linguistic space near "recommendation" and "pen case". Don't look to commercial AIs for a "if you like this, try this new thing" recommendation any time soon, that requires actually experiencing the product - or scraping enough written experiences to give a high probability of correlation! (I do love my Lihit Lab case, it's been going strong for over 7 years now - and I added the Bag-in-Bag in A5 and A4 for carrying my Rhodia/Hobonichi as one "journal unit" and protecting my Kokuyo notebooks' glue bindings and soft covers while in transit, respectively! Also Mildliners can't be beat for accessibility/quality balance, I got my set at Walgreens while I was waiting the 15 minutes after my fall shots)

I dislike Leuchtturm’s and Moleskine’s paper a lot but I like their binding so much. When I use one up I bind my own paper into it (usually Fabriano or Seawhite sketch paper), and then I can use it all over again…but better! 😂 edit: also I love that ghosting line so much, good job

When the AI said the Mildliners were double-ended, I grabbed one out of my organizer, because mine aren't double-ended! Then I pulled on the end just to demonstrate, and of course the cap came off and revealed the fine point end. I have NO IDEA if I knew it was there and forgot, or if I bought these without knowing!

I actually chose the limit lab book pen case to carry my needlework/sewing supplies for on the go..it holds my. Scissors, needles etc plus floss and Perle cotton rolls! Perfect for stitching on the go

Energel user and truly among the best for lefties. When I heard the ink dried quickly, I bought an entire stash and their refills asap because I was so done with getting the side of my hand dirty of every color but white... that doesn't help with drawing pencils though

the notebook one is so fun, because I've filled like... 7 Leuchturm notebooks, in the last 2 years. i love them so much. they're so practical, and even though you have to buy the pen loop extra, it adds a bit of customizabillity since I can mix and match the colors. which i think is very fun

I would go for your choices Stephanie, though for a notebook/Journal hard bound I prefer Dingbats. For a planner/calendar Jibun Techo if I only want a weeks layout, or Hobonichi Cousin If I need a daily also. The JT should combine these into one book instead of 3.

I'm with Stephanie! AI is nothing more than a very large, very fast computer and its programming. There is a huge difference between "knowledge" (ie: data) and "wisdom" (ie: the knowledge of how to apply the data it has accumulated). GIGO ( _data_ garbage in / _recommendation_ garbage out ) AI is fun (currently) but, because it is so fast and has an extremely large database, it can mimic humans. Therein lies its danger. AI may very well be like nuclear power. Properly applied with appropriate limitations, guardrails and fenceposts, it can be extremely useful. Improperly or carelessly applied with few or even no controlling limitations, it can wreak the devastation of a nuclear bomb. I might _(might)_ use AI as an initial sorting tool for recommendations, but I *_strongly_* prefer the human touch -- especially the humans (or their JetDo mascot!!) from Jet Pens. Jet Pens humans know enough to ask poignant questions about your personal tastes and preferences!! Bravo Stephanie!!

Surprisingly I prefer most of the AI choices, although they have some of the details wrong. I like the Kokuyo Campus MIO paper much better than Leuchtturm, although it’s not bound like a journal. And Mildliners always win for me because of the color variety.

I never considered being so interesting with just journal pages. Interesting supplies in both cases. Though I might go for both sets of pens and markers. I wonder how small a tip I can get for the pens, though. I prefer .3 or lower, and they're almost impossible to find in gel pens.

Pilot Hi-Tec-C actually has an option for a 0.25mm tip, though not all colors are available in that size. The 0.3mm tips have a wider variety of color options. The RTX looks like it's available in 0.3mm for black, red and blue, though the widest variety of colors for the RTX comes in their 0.7mm tip size, unfortunately.
