Your pronounciation of the german words "Leuchtturm" and "Roter Faden" are very close to native. Congratulations to your skill and thank you very much for your effort. I already grabbed the slim monthly MD Bird series as soon as it became available! I'm using the same style one this year for at work, where I can't bring my primary full-size planner. I copy important dates and appointments into it and when I get the schedule I write it in the slim to bring home and copy onto the main one. Because I have a calendar with me at work, I can quickly answer my manager about what days I have available if they're looking to cover other people's vacations. I love the pen loop that is integrated into the clear cover. It's super sturdy and keeps my pencil in place very well!

In April I switched to using a Nolty block checklist style planner. I don't think I'll ever switch to anything else for my job. It's beautifully simplistic and easy to use as a design engineer. I often use the Saturday and Sunday boxes each week to track backlogged projects or side projects that still need to get done when I have free time. I do sometimes wish they had more pages in the back of them to write meeting notes in. I haven't maxed it out yet, but that fear exists.

JetPens doesn't offer it, but I am in absolute love with my Sunny Iroha planner-it has super thin, Tomoe-River-like paper (also mostly fountain pen friendly, although there are a couple inks it doesn't get along with), a really soft pleather cover, a comfortable b6 size, understated but cheery design. I'm moving from the Weekly Vertical this year to a Free Daily next year plus the slim three-month Weekly Vertical inserts they offer.

I'm super excited to use the Nolty pocket weekly planner. My pocket monthly planner I grabbed at a drug store worked dandy but with more and more appointments and life task to keep track I needed more space to write. I picked up the Hobonichi A5 Cousin single book for 2025 from y'all! It'll be my 9th Hobonichi :D I usually keep a Weeks for wellness tracking but I'm barely filling the weekly pages so I started looking for a generous monthly planner with ~40 pages in the back for appointment notes. It also needs to be small enough to travel with my A5 Cousin but sturdy enough to be on it's own. The Campus monthly & Kleid misty were top contenders but given that I'm not ready to give up my Week's case, I am going to try out the Common Planner monthly booklet in the N2 size. :) Thank you guys so much for posting so much detailed information on your site to help me make this decision without being able to see each book in person!

I think I would like one of the "famous" Hobonichi planners to help me with my life resolution (as opposed to just a New Year's resulution) for weight loss. I've settled on a modest goal of just five lbs a month starting in 2025 as my goal (nothing too out of reach that will unrealistically require changing so much about my life that I definitely will drop out of doing it. 5lbs a month is still 60 a year and I'm going to be very happy with that). A daily planner with a bit of writing room would be nice for writing down an exercise routine on the calandar days and maybe some meal planning somewhere else in the book. Hopefully by having a plan in writing, I'll actually stick to it. January being in the middle of winter when I want to just stay warm inside and do nothing will make the start a lot harder (really, I hadn't thought of that until now. Maybe we need to adopt some kind of calendar system that instead starts in spring, lol! Though I do love the colder months). I'll ponder over which of the planners I'd like. I also like the soft-ring ones, so I can write with less space on the table or my office desk. Edit: Actually, I'm torn between two Midori Diaries, lol. I like the color scheme for the hours of the day on the Gradation diary and that it has lines to write on. But the Hobini in camel is gorgeous and just looks like a book you'd want to pick up each day 😅. While all of the pages has grids, there's way more pages for writing, over 700. I've added both to my wish list and might send that list to my mom as my request for Christmas. The Hobino might be a bit high for her, though, so if I choose that one, I'll buy it myself and instead see if she'll help clear my washi-tape and sticker list 😂

As I'm going to be in Japan this December, I do plan to have a look at these and more in person, to see how they fit with my Taschenbegleiter, which is just a beautiful piece of kit. @mollymollie60483 ай бұрын
I was able to see both the Hibino and the small cute dog planner in person. The Hibino feels just so lovely, the paper is a very soft cream with light brown grid and soft brown numbering. You just want to sit down with your favorite pen, a hot cocoa in a comfy space and start “Dear Diary, Today I…” I love it so much…………..but I already got my planners for the year (an EDC A6 for my purse and an A5 for more in depth stuff at home…both are from an independent US small business that uses Hobonichi Techo format and TRP-S, and yes I pen tested them both and both passed with flying colors, but very minimalist colors, writing, no quote, etc. Undated daily pages but dated Months and weeks (there is also a daily dated as well.) Soooo…I can’t justify the splurge for the Hibino. Instead, I fell in love with the tiny little grid it has and so I’m ordering a Kleid and a Maruman Septcoleur notebooks from JetPens tomorrow as both are also tiny grid (2.5/3mm) with cream paper to still be able to enjoy that and use it for other things (cause I don’t need another planner!) I do really like those Midori Desk Stand calendars, they’re so pretty. Midori does design so nicely!!

I get overwhelmed when a company or business offers so many options. Perhaps you can formulate a quiz that customers can take so they can be directed to options that would best suit their needs? I don’t always have the motivation to go through the options 😅. I love that I can filter through the planner types on the websites but when I select A6 size I still have 66 options to look through and there aren’t filter options on the website that helps narrow down exactly what I’m looking for. Don’t get me wrong though, the website is fabulous! 🎉
