Match the ink to the Hobo month! You guys are too much! Shading and-or sheening inks look amazing in the Hobo. My favorites are Graf von Faber-Castell Cognac Brown, Iroshizuku Asa-gao, and Sailor Shikiori Yamadori. But I never met a fountain pen ink I didn't like. 😍

Pilot Frixion pen is really handy when you know you make a lot of mess when writing. I remember a classmate used this pen on our exam that has a "no correction erasure" rule or you'll get no points and he bragged his Frixion pen since he can just erase his writings without a trace. Then when the test papers are graded and given back to us, his paper is blank and no grade since his writing kind of disappeared lmao. We live in a humid tropical country so now I know why his writings disappeared

I like cartridges for my fountain pens. Because of the convenience. If I had to choose I'd go for blue ink cartridges all the time for my fountain pens.

I have the Frixion Slim Multi-Pen for the exact reason Stephanie said: plans change. I had previously used three separate Frixion pens, but the multi-pen saves a lot of space in my pencil case. I chose the clear body because my color coding used pink, sky blue, and purple ink, and the transparent body helps me to see what ink I’m choosing. Bonus Tip!: Although the Frixion Multi-Pens comes with a replaceable plastic eraser, I prefer to use a larger eraser on larger areas. I like the Seed Clear Radar 100 Eraser for its small yet broad size, and it also erases pencil lead.

Same, same, same!! I liked the classy look of the champagne Frixion multi pen and used it for years! But the clear body is PERFECT for seeing my color scheme!! I like the brown, orange, green and marroon! I liked it so much I bought 2. One for home and one for my bag.

Sailor dual-shading inks (Sailor Manyo is the line I have the most of for dual-shading inks haha) are my absolute favorite!! I loveee love to see the color shifting on good paper, I could stare at them for hours 😆😆

I’m used to Parker Quinckflow ballpoint when I got my first parker back in 2nd year of high school (15years ago). It was the Parker contract lineup with ballpoint and fountain pen (got a mech pencil of it a couple years later). My 23/24 pick would be Uni-Ball SF-05 (watermelon with 0,5 nib). I love its design and how free flowing the ink gets onto the paper. Does jetpens ship internationally? I’m in need of some good notebooks again.

As somone who lives in America with a Sunday start work week. Are there any planners I can use for work. I love my hobonichi weeks but I hate writing my weekly schedule and stopping on my Saturday because I don't know if I'm working Sunday. It feels wrong and annoying, but so does writing filling in Sunday on Thursday when my schedule is posted, because while completing the page feels nice, I once again have to stop on saturday.

I keep a record of all the books my Mother reads so I don’t checkout a book she’s already read. I need a notebook that has removable pages as well as pages I can add to. It also needs to be compact enough to take with me to the library. Any ideas?

Depending on how compact you mean, the Lihit Lab Pastello notebook in A6/B6 would probably be your best bet. The twist ring is pretty easy to open/close once you figure it out the first time. I haven't had this model, but I had their memo book that lives in my pants pocket for the past year and has held up very well, though I don't add/remove paper constantly.
