PFT's latest on Jets' firing of Saleh: www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/jets-fire-head-coach-robert-saleh
@InterestedAmerican3 ай бұрын
Mike, your reasoning is sound. I too was floored by the firing. To me, it seems something big went down behind closed doors. We just have to wait and see if coming decisions and possible player moves can give us hints to what that was. Could it be Salah had no interest in getting Adams, while Rogers wanted him? Let's see if they get him first. Or, perhaps it was the other way around and Rogers asked Saleh to get him, but ownership was "no." It will be interesting to learn the truth about what caused Saleh to get fired.

Yeah, what a coach killer. I'm not taking Aaron Rodgers' side, because I think he's washed and as arrogant and weird as ever. But Saleh has been in New York since 2021, long before Rodgers finally took the field (for more than three plays) in 2024. The Jets have been spinning their wheels the whole time ando the buck stops with him. How will it make it worse is a question Mike is avoiding. They’ve hit rock bottom, and Saleh has too good of a roster to be looking like this. Honestly, he’s not adding much as a head coach and firing him suggests that Woody wanted him gone last offseason and against his better judgement kept him on. This firing is long overdue.

Have you seen Carolina or the titans? The jets haven't hit rock bottom and it's only because of the defense. The qb with to much power and the OC that Salah didn't want the the qb brought on, are very obviously the problem.

@@zeroskaterjjr98 so your argument is to keep Saleh because he doesn’t do anything and has no say in any decisions? You just admitted that he doesn’t do anything.

Two years ago when the Lions had a record of 2-3, 5 games in, they were ready to throw a parade! They were happy to feel that they existed!

He gets five games to coach Aaron Rodgers and he's fired. What was the point of having him as your coach to begin with. Same old Jets.

I believe that Rodgers is an arrogant and manipulative person, and that he was an influence on this decision.

Jets should have tried to draft JJ in the draft. Vikings are in great shape having him for the near future at least. Gives them great leverage to secure overall great team.

Salute to the Green Bay Packers for getting rid of their quarterback a year early. Again. To the Jets. Again.

Tell us you want your team to tank without telling us you want your team to tank. Saleh's defense was going to win too many games to get a top pick.
