For me the top line is lights out but consistent secondary scoring help sometimes can be an issue. I think a top 2nd line centre is what's needed. The team plays way better defensively and Helle keeps the GA down but I think too many nights Ehlers, Perfetti, Nino, Lowry, etc can't get on the scoresheet to help the first line out. The top line has 72 Goals out of 164 for the team.

Good point also would like them to add one more physical player for the playoffs.If you want to beat Florida you will need at least one more player.The other thing is one more defense man as others have mentioned. You have a chance to win it all this year!

Appleton and Stanley haven’t been good enough. Appleton hasn’t been the worst but he might have been hurt so we’ll see how that goes. This team is really good. But the playoffs are way more physical, way less space to play so guys like Ehlers aren’t as effective since they just get bodied. Should sign Lindros or Chelios lol

we saw what failed this team in the playoffs, a second line that did literally nothing and a d core that looked overwhelmed and coughed up some brutal turnovers and panic plays. if we dont make any attempt to fix that ill have my expections low and hope for the best

@TheTojocat I've watched almost every game the Jets played and Apples never impresses me. He's not overly gritty and can't finish. He's barely a 4th liner on any other team. Dom plays both ends of the ice, is gritty, can fight a bit and plays Center and Wing. His value to the team is in the 50 percentile, while I would put Apples in the 20 percentile at best. Apples is easier to replace by far.

Sign Toews, trade for Quick as latest as possible to keep Comrie safe & either trade for Patrick Kane or sign Phil the Thrill! We need guys like that in our room. (Comrie is a blessing to the room but Quick would be the best mentor for Helle like he was for Hill)

Umm Helle would be mentoring Quick bro lol. Also why would you pay a bunch of old guys that don’t know anyone on the team and then expect their influence to automatically help. Not every team has these old players as add ons. Maybe one guy that can play, but we got Taffoli last year and it did nothing lol
