This past Monday's match up between the Bills and Bengals will forever be a night we all remember as we watched one of our brothers, Damar Hamlin go into cardiac arrest on the field as team trainers worked tirelessly and performed CPR for nearly ten minutes before getting him into an ambulance. Since that moment, the entire country united behind Damar and has been pulling for his recovery through prayer, his community endeavors and his family.
Receiving positive medical updates in the past 24 hours about Damar has lifted everyone's spirits and allowed his teammates, friends and brothers around the league to refocus and somewhat prepare to play the game they all love again this weekend.
Knowing Damar almost his entire life, Jordan talks about when he watched his friend fall to the ground, how hard it was to watch and the amazing outpouring of support for his friend. Sharing with Fred, Ryan and Channing, Jordan talks about Damar's love for football, his dedication to the community and how bringing joy to others has always been his focus and the type of man he is. He knows that his friend would want him to go out and play Sunday and still be a physical player and that is what Jordan plans to do as he honors his long time brother and friend. Echoing the same sentiment as Damar's family, Jordan says Damar wouldn't want his Buffalo teammates to play for him but he would want to bring positivity to them and have them come together as a team and fulfill their season goals of winning a Super Bowl.
Growing up in Pittsburgh, Jordan reminisces about playing against Damar and becoming college roommates and teammates in Pitt and the two forming a lifelong bond and brotherhood both wearing the number three jersey as their NFL careers have taken off. Jordan shares with Channing, Fred and Ryan his plans for after the regular season is to go spend time with his friend and help him recover and hopefully still take the trips they have planned for the off season.
Winning a Super Bowl with Tom Brady as part of the Bucs core defensive unit, Jordan has taken what he learned during his time in Tampa, especially the leadership skills and worked to bring them to his Jets team as the young defense shaped out to be one of the toughest and most dominant in the league this season. Following in the footsteps of his cousin and future Hall of Famer Darelle Revis, Jordan's on field play is earning him the reputation as one of the best Safeties in the league and talks about just falling short of making the playoffs this year.

Channing is on point. When I saw RC that night, I, for the 1st time, felt like everything will be ok. RC, you have become a PIVOTal human for so many of us in life. Your purpose in this life is what you do right now. Not that silly franchise you played for. 😛 But seriously, this. Don't ever stop. Please. It makes me cry to even write this.

Hi 👋🏾 to all you Amazing Men of the Pivot....Which is so many times, what many of us have to do, in our regular lives, just to keep persevering. I know I have had to Pivot, many times. That's why I love that you're doing this show, because I believe it is so necessary. I am a Dallas Cowboy's Fan, however on Monday night. I was just a Football Fan, & myself & my Daughter always watch Monday night, Thursday night, & Sunday Football together. So, when that unfortunate incident happened with Damar, we were watching that game, & it was so hard to watch. My daughter & I were just comforting each other, & immediately Praying for him. Because, I am a Healthcare worker, my daughter kept asking me questions, like Mom, why haven't they got him in the Ambulance yet? I said baby, it's probably, because he is not stable, they have to first make sure he has a heart beat, & a pulse! The point is we were all impacted in some way, & I will be honest, I never really paid attention to Damar before this incident really. But, when this happened I found myself praying for him, his family ( in particular his Mom), the Ambulance Techs, The Doctor's, his Buffalo Teammates, & the Bengals Teammates! I also couldn't stop thinking of everyone's Mental Health, which I think, should be a larger discussion for the NFL. Ryan, I so appreciated when they finally added you to the broadcast, & got you on camera, after that incident. Because, I knew you were going to kill it, & you really comforted myself, & my Daughter. One thing I wish the NFL would consider, from here on out, is to have a Licensed Professional, such as a Therapist on their payroll. In order to also get a Calming Professional Perspective on T.V., during a crisis like this! Because, I am sure millions of people were dealing with their feelings of pain, anguish, & hurt for a fellow human being, just like themselves. But, not knowing how to deal with those emotions? I am so glad though, that all of our prayers, meant healing for Damar, I know that makes me feel better, that he is recovering rapidly, & is not brain dead! Anytime someone loses consciousness, that is a concern, as to how long oxygen wasn't flowing to their brain. So, that is a Blessing for sure. God is so Good! Thanks for this show, Damar's friend Jordan really gave me some insight, into Dumar Hamlin, the man, not just the football player. You can also understand why Jordan & Damar are friends. Their character, & the way they conduct themselves in their lives, as young Men, is very similar. Please, forgive me, for my long-winded comment. But God put these words upon my heart, to express my feelings, in this manner. Peace, Love, & Blessings! ✌🏾 💜 🙏🏾

I was watching Monday night, and as a true football fan and someone playing the sport growing up, I cannot express the amount of gratitude and care us fans have for these guys who risk there life on that field every snap. I prayed everyday for Damar since his injury and I’m sooo glad he’s getting better and making fantastic progress. RC, the way you handled, convey your emotions, and covered the events that took place that night was absolutely amazing. You did a phenomenal job on such an emotional night. All of the sports casters did even the ones who were at the game. Just like Channing said, sometimes we can lose hope in the world but to see EVERYONE rally behind Mr. Hamlin was beautiful. Thank you guys for another really good conversation. And anyone reading this, have a blessed new year. We got your back #3 💙❤️

This is the best sports show period. You get to know the people they interview. They don’t shy away from any topic and keep it real. Love from Vegas.

This dude went to hs with my homies lil bro d’rob foster who went to bama and also played for the bills before damar. Those boys were dogs. Blew out a hs powerhouse for their first championship at heinz field when they were underclassmen. Pgh area stand up.
