Aaron Rodgers is the ultimate friend. Dude totally FLEECED Green Bay to pay him a max deal, only to demand a trade, pretended to give Denver Hope that they'd get him so that they'd hire his friend, then fleeced New York to hire two of his favorite players that aren't any good, and hire his buddy as OC who had a historically bad offense in Denver. The reason Niner fans have a gripe about Purdy not getting his credit comes from watching so many Niner games through the years. It’s become clear where the issues are, and which players aren’t doing their job. Purdy is the first QB in a long time that is playing at an elite level. The fact that he’s able to extend plays and place the ball in the perfect spot a majority of the time is exposing where the real issues are, it’s not him.

I'd really like Nick to point out what the physical limitations are in Brock that are costing them in those spots. The 49ers challenges are red zone offense, D, and Special Teams. Red Zone issues are mostly, despite all of the "Avengers" talk, receivers not creating space. Every pass this year from Brock appears to have to be a tight window throw.

The thing I always tell people when I say I watch this show, is that Colin is the best interviewer by far of all the talking heads. His solo takes can be wonky, but the show is at its best with the guests he has on. Brock definitely isn't an issue. Shanahan is a choke artist in his 4th quarter play calling his entire career. The special teams has never been good under shanahan. The defense is super sus this year as well.

Not too worried about Purdy or the Niners. Yes, Red Zone was terrible, but they were still marching down the field at will. They lost their kicker to injury, and had 3 turnovers. Every loss was by less than a TD. We’ll see where they’re at in a few weeks.

Tampa is above the Falcons, Bills, and Cowboys. They have more defensive injuries than any other team in the NFL. They had Atlanta beat until their defensive players started dropping like flies and probably would have won that game had Whitehead still been playing. I’ve struggled for so long about why I constantly root against the chiefs. Mahomes is undeniably great, and I like Andy Reid and the way he supports his players. So… why can’t I stand this team?
