this Jets team this year is incredibly stacked with talent. I feel terrible for Aaron Rodgers and I’m sure he feels the same but these Jets will get by with Zach Wilson at the helm. I don't think that the "tripping call" meets the common understanding of the Tripping rule which usually requires the use of a foot or leg to trip an opponent. Throwing your whole body in front of someone and they happen to fall over you does not really seem like a trip; otherwise, any low tackle (without arm wrapping) that takes out the ball carrier's legs would be considered a trip.

3 games stand out, 2 I was lucky enough to be there for. Jets vs the (at the time) 1 seeded packers in 2002. Team battles back from 2-5 to 8-7. The second NE kicked an OT FG, putting control of the division in the jets hands if they win? Stadium went ballistic and stayed that way all game. Jets vs Colts 2002 Literal only home PO game this millenium for the team and the fourth EVER division win for the team in NFL history (Yes, it's been THAT horrific). It was the very next game after the Packers one. I was there for this. 41-0. Last one: Week 2. Jets Pats. Rex Ryan came up w the idea to send out a recorded msg to the entire fanbase, calling ticket holders by phone, excitedly encouraging them to show up and help the team win. That's exactly what happened. Video on YT showing the game is literally titled "2009 Patriots at Jets 1H LOUD" Go listen when the game started everytime the Pats went to run a play. Deafening. I was there for this one, too.

The Bills have had some of the worst results for end-of-game losses in recent years. The Chiefs, the Vikings, and now the Jets have all won games against them in the wildest, unusual, and bizarre ways at the end of games. Jets are gonna have huge uphill battle with Zach Wilson at QB. This is third chance with NY when this kid should have been gone, but they believe in him and he's got to step up now. His biggest hurdle is seeing the field and making that 2nd or 3rd decision quickly when the initial play evaporates. That said, if Jets Dee can keep them in games, there is enough talent for them to compete in every game.
