Everyone is overthinking this. When in trouble, what one should do is go back to basics. Basics is defined in KISS- Keep It Simple Stupid, Football is based on brawn and Speed. The Inside lines (DL,OL) should be brawn, the outer positions should be speed. Draft players that fit those descriptions. All Hall of Fame coaches and Super Bowl teams (Pitts, Balt, SF, ) follow the same structures. KISS

The Jets at last did hire their new head coach. Aaron Glenn. Now we have another HC who was never a head coach before Now we have another defensive coach as our head coach. Will he succeed? I do not know and I really hope so......only time will tell. Actually years.

Once Aron Glenn sign 17 years pretty much lock not making the playoffs who do we want as coach when we hit the big 20 years we had to have like 3 day celebration to me not making the playoffs for 20 years is bigger accomplishment then winning a super bowl

@PGH - You know what's a good way to ruin your great reputation around the league. Before you're hired as a first time HC you Visit a team drag your personal GM choice you worked with in Detroit use him as a prop knowing the Saints can't hire him since they have a GM in place. Now your GM in waiting has to head back to the Commanders with his tail between his legs because you wanted to squeeze more money out of the Saints. First of all Aaron Glenn has way more character than that. Thank you for having a picture of yourself available now everyone knows what a goofball looks like.

Detroit had the worst defense in the league in the second half of the year. The 28th worst vs the pass last season, 2023. And were 29th worst in points given up the year before that, 2022. What's not to love? Sounds like a Woody guy to me. It's not like the Jets have a former QB of theirs leading on the rookie of the year at QB in Kliff Kingsbury who just killed that defense. Or an OC in their division leading his team to the conference championship game, and also led a college team to a championship. Or an all time DC going for his 5th SB ring in Spags, which could bring over Nagy as his OC. But what do we know? Woody knows best.
