Glenn isn't salah he was a 2xs pro bowler and was best cb I saw jets had till revis. Played on a 1-15 team and then a 12 win team. Played under parcels who is in top 5 coaches of all time. He started as a scout and worked his way up d coordinator. Go watch his old games he played he knows ny he knows losing and winning he knows the media and the fans. He is definitely not salah gace etc etc

This was the first time I can recall in a long time that I'm excited about the head coach and the general manager that we have. Coach Glenn is going to hold guys accountable and just the answers he was giving got me fired up. Yeah sure he's a defensive coach much like Coach Saleh was but there's just something about the fact that he's a former NY Jet and he knows the fanbase, knows the culture and knows what fans are craving for. I also like the response Glenn gave about Rodgers. Interesting to see how this pans out as we head into the draft.

I was one who wanted an experienced Head coach. So this hire had me nervous. What we got instead was an experienced New York Jet. That might be the most important piece here in hindsight. It was a sign of how he will coach when he faced the AR situation head on and brought it up himself and didn’t hide and wait for someone to ask. We are in good hands.

Very happy we were able to get not only the Jets’ #1 choice but Glenn got HIS #1 choice and that’s to coach the New York jets baby! Very happy we have a former player who has literally lived and breathed everything Jets, and I was also very impressed with Mougey and the way he carries himself and he clearly is going to bring in some really good players. We don’t need a roster overhaul but we need some type of re- arranging.

Same for me - ALL of these guys, in each regime change, pretty much come in all guns, and then, the dead weight of Woody's ego and interference crushes the air and life out of them...Woody cannot and will not get out of his own way!! His ego will not allow it...All of Ian's, and many others' enthusiasm and hope - for me - is now clearly just denial and folly... I won't fall for it again, and I am not sitting around and waiting for yet another rebuild, for Woody to then ask Aaron Glenn to fall on his sword for him three years from now. It has pretty much been 25 years of wash, rinse, and repeat, at least for me. I have too much self-esteem and value for my time in life to further invest more emotion into this HOPELESS franchise... Woody Johnson is the irresistible force and the immovable object, all at once. He will not relent, or ever cede control to the likes of yet another rookie head coach and GM while he is alive and kicking... Woody's desire for power and control of the football aspect of his franchise is precisely why there has been one rookie head coach and GM after another after another year. This obvious cycle will never end until Woody Johnson's egomaniacal cycle ends.

It’s hard not to be fired up and hopeful for what AG can bring to the team. As always, we have to be cautious given the previous optimism of other hires, but you can’t help but think this time it’s different. Drafted by the jets, Pro Bowl player and integral to the turnaround in the late 90s, started as a scout with the Jets. He bleeds Green through and through and has a feel about how to play (and win) in the toughest sports market in North America. It feels like fate has chosen him to be the One, and let’s hope its comes to fruition.

I had no issues with JD. He drafted AVT and Beckton…tried to address the OL. But his drafts weren’t bad. Saleh and co just didn’t seem on the same page. I just hope this new regime can work well and together
