yes you're right. Buy-on-board service would be conducted for economy class passengers. I'm not sure how many times during the flight though

Wonderful presentation. I have been abit confused on Jetstar. So is it an Australian airline with a Singaporean subsidiary or is it the other way around? Is it considered a LCC? the J class cabin seemed a nice addition. I have just noticed how long a flight from Japan to Singapore is. Were you able t visit the Economy class cabin? if so, any interesting things to point out?

Really nice to watch another Flight review from FlightTravels just before Christmas. I must say it's a very comprehensive tour of the Jetstar Star Class service. What surprises me in this video is Jetstar's seat configuration on its long-haul aircrafts. 2-4-2 in Economy Class is pretty generous in a Low cost carrier, but 2-3-2 in Business Class is not, especially on a A330. Food and drinks in Star Class looks really up to industry standard, better than AirAsia X's I would think. Happy New Year!

Heys H, thank you for watching my video again! Jetstar is indeed an Australian airline with several Asian subsidaries (Jetstar Asia, Jetstar Japan and upcoming Jetstar Hong Kong). However, the flight I was on is operated by the main airline (JQ) which are ironically, staffed with Singapore-based crew - to benefit from a lower cost base versus Australia-based crew. Well, I did walk through but there wasn't much, just overhead TV screens on this A330

well, it depends on the airline actually. I think Thai and Jetstar dont mind if you take the earsets from the plane but some airlines will collect them back before landing.

I agree with You, it does fit accurately into the Economy Premium Class spec, 38" seat pitch and 7 seat abreast. What was their Star Class label? Thanks for your wishes, will be looking forward to start off my 2013 with Oman Air very soon. Enjoy your video editing in this festive season Gavin ! :)

Well, Jetstar is a budget airline after all so I was quite impressed with the service and product.

Yeah there are no PTVs for this A330 which is why iPads were distributed to passengers. And Jetstar doesn't have a lounge (I guess because it is a low-cost airline after all)

Merry Christmas Gavin. I just came back from a holiday in Bali and travelled on QATAR - the same flight you took before but I can't say it was good. Infact both ways was not up to the expectations we have come to expect from the world's 5 star airline. What was good was my experience swimming and enjoying time with dolphins although I have been to bali for more than 13 times in my lifetime. I feel Emirates beat Qatar hands down. And I am off on another holiday in 2 days time to BKK again.

Great video as usual Gavin.I am sure you are aware that Jet star are the budget carrier for Qantas and fully owned by them. The food did not seem to rate with Thai , Emirates etc because they are budget based...also hence the limited pitch. The website continues to go well.

Air China is OK. I wont say they are the best but nevertheless, I still enjoyed my time onboard with them. I hope you will have a nice experience onboard with CA! well, as I am a poor university student, I have to save up for my flights over the semester.

From watching FlightTravels's videos I have figured out one thing. If you buy an Economy class ticket but when you go to give them your ticket they say Economy class is full, then they give you a free upgrade to Business class! Keep you fingers crossed hope you get Business class!

Hi Suneet, thank you so much for watching!!! Yes, Jetstar Business in certain ways resemble Premium Economy on other airlines. Meal-wise, my Japanese choice tasted really good (nice that they have 3 options) though as what you've mentioned, its alot less fancy than EK's Y meal! The seats were great though, especially the footrest feature! And yes the crew were very warm and friendly! It was quite enjoyable :) Since Jetstar is after all a budget airline, overall it exceeded my expectations!
