If you’ve got most of the cards, go for it! I wish all the matches were like that :P Win or lose, I try to pick the most entertaining and/or educational matches for videos. But it can be a time-consuming process to even get just okay matches. No shortage of squash matches or me bricking into oblivion when I stream live on Twitch!

got into the ptcg about a month ago (came over from yugioh) and this decks seems sick, really wanna give it a go! i do have 2 decks already though so i may need to wait before i commit to yet another one XD

Welcome to the Pokemon TCG community! What decks do you currently run? Also, take your time when it comes to making and playing different decks. There are no shortage of people who only play 1 deck and wouldn’t want it any other way. Make the leap whenever you’re ready.

@@InThirdPerson currently I'm playing Zoroark Vstar and Tinkaton Ex (mainly cos they're 2 of my favourite Pokémon that have pretty easy to understand gameplans)! thanks for the advice! honestly it's been really hard to not just try and build every deck I've seen cos the strategies for a Pokémon deck are all so diverse it's pretty awesome!

Hey, love the vidoes. Tiny comment: I miss when you were putting the deck tiers at the beginning to show where the deck places in the meta - it was always really interesing!

I actually only did the tier list for post-rotation deck previews. My deck profile vids don’t include that, and I’m not sure if I would due to the volatility of tiers and the proper deck profile videos having a longer lifespan than those post-rotation previews. It wouldn’t be a great look for me to proclaim a deck is BDIF and then the meta changes and now people are confused with the tier list when they watch the video months later. These deck profile videos are meant to have a lifespan of 2-5 months, depending on how long the gap is between sets, but things change quickly in the meta and people watch these videos long after their release. For post-rotation previews it makes more sense as I’m speaking directly to Japan’s meta at that specific moment in time. And at this point, most people are watching the actual deck profiles and not any sort of preview coverage, making the tier list speaking to a specific moment in time less weird. I appreciate the feedback and am always looking for ways to make these videos more helpful.

I would use Cheren's Care over Turo and maybe relicanth over radiant gardevoir, cause ancient box is more popular than a mirror matchup

what prebuild deck should I get my kid, I was thinking of getting the Gardevoir ex battle deck for myself but need to get him a deck to compete. I got him the 2023 battle academy box. What are your thoughts?

Honestly get a 2nd Gardevoir deck for them too. Otherwise, go Miraidon, though Gardevoir I’m pretty sure has an advantage in that match up.

@@InThirdPerson Thinks for the reply. I told him the Gardevoir deck was for him and he made suck a sab/upset face :') then I told him it was for me. I did get him a trainer PikachuV that made him happy. If they had the Miraidon deck that's the one I was thinking for getting for him, he loves electric Pokémon especially Pikachu he also loves Eevee I put an EeveeV in his deck. Now to watch the upgrade vid :)

You can buy the single cards, but Arceus Giratina is not sold as a pre-constructed deck.
