Ross, I enjoyed your video as always. Not owning a boat, I fish that jetty regularly. If you fish the bottom on the ship side, there is a cable underwater between the two posts that will catch a lot of lures. Between the shore and the first post, there are some stray boulders here and there that somehow got moved out away from the jetty also. To the right of the farthest from shore post, I have never lost a lure on the bottom, at least not out away from the jetty itself. Those old pier pilings in the shallow water near the base of the jetty can hold some nice flounder at times too. I learn a lot from your vids. Thanks.

Mr. RedfishRoss, glad and happy to watch something new from you. It's been a little while, I understand due to our weather situation. But beautifully done, sir! I'm heading Saturday early morning to try my luck on flounder fishing and anything else that'll hit my line down here in the Galveston area. By any chance, would you or could you give me any advice? I'm an avid watcher on your channel and always love your experiences with your videos. May you and your family enjoy a very Merry Christmas!! Tight lines never stop!

i know this is awhile back , but something caught my eye and hate it more than anything cause it happens to me alot, it bites my ass when you catch a fish and im talking about me, then once somebody sees you catch that fish , they walk close to you and cast directly where you caught the fish , i mean its just crazy , no respect , and when i was watching this video , thats almost exactly what happen with you ,you didnt even release the fish yet and that dude had turned around , then once you released the fish , that dude was already in place casting where you were at , its just ridiculous , i just dont get it , it brought alot of memories when i seen that happen , i had to comment on it lol great video redfish ross,

After a cold snap, when to talk about fish laying in deeper water, what depths are you talking about?
