For beveled cuts, I actually sand them. It started with making 45 degree bevels for control surfaces. With a metal ruler standing on it’s edge, tape the part, on edge to be beveled, to the ruler. Mark a line, parallel to edge of part, the required distance needed for bevel. Now you can sand back to the line, using the line on top and edge of ruler on bottom, to control angle of the bevel. For control surfaces, you measure back the thickness of the foam for a 45 degree angle. Or you just measure back the distance indicated on plans.
