I got blasted on Jever in 1990 as a 18 year old traveling thru Europe, ended up in Jever at Otto Deineken Pansion, right across from the brewery, we use to go straight into brewery and by the pilsner for. 20 pfenings and drink all day, Aghhh bring back memories

Citrusy, sweet,...I don’t know what this guy is reviewing but this has to be a limited edition of Jever. In Germany Jever is known as bitter, crisp. Nowhere near sweet or citrusy. 😅

it's pronounced yay-fa or yay-va. germans can be buggers for correct pronunciations, try asking for a low-en-brow & they just look at you funny, cos it's pronounced lurf-un-broy with the guttural 'r'.
