Uttar Pradesh government approved the Rs1,600 crore project that will connect Noida airport with National Capital Region (NCR) towns of Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut and Delhi.
The 72 km route will branch out from Ghaziabad station and end at Noida airport in Jewar. This route will pass through Greater Noida West, Surajpur, and Ecotech Pari Chowk before ending in Jewar.
RRTS Route From Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan to Jewar Airport?
In October 2023, the state government and Yeida requested NCRTC to investigate a Regional
Rapid Transit System (RRTS) route from Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan, spanning the DND Flyway,
Noida Expressway, and Yamuna Expressway to the greenfield airport. Another route, passing
through Greater Noida West and the central part of Greater Noida city to the Jewar airport,
was also under consideration.
In last meeting, Sarai Kale Khan and Greater Noida routes had been dismissed, and the route from Ghaziabad to Jewar via Greater Noida West had been approved. This development paves the way for the project to proceed, with an anticipated operational date of 2030 if everything unfolds as
planned.
Priority Section of Delhi-Meerut RRTS Operational
Trains on the 17km priority section of the RRTS in India started running in October this year
after the Prime Minister inaugurated this corridor. This 17km section has five stations,
Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai and Duhai Depot.
This 17km section is a part of an 82km corridor that will connect Delhi, Ghaziabad and
Meerut, and is slated to open in 2025.

This is a good idea because this is going to criss cross with the existing metro lines that go from Noida to Delhi and Noida to greater Noida . So people can take metro from Delhi to Noida and change to rrts towards airport

Jevar airport to IGI airport connectivity honi chaliye... via connecting Aqua line in Noida, Violet line in Faridabad, Yellow in Gurugram finally connecting Blue line in Dwarka or Orange line. ...... This single project will benifit 4 cities ie. Noida, Faridabad,Gurugram , Delhi as well as Both airports....
