alex and i talked about this so much how we didnt want to be surrounded by the big city, i lived on vancouver island... she was designing this space so even trying to find a space that suited both our tastes in canggu that involved not being enclosed. its hard to find spaces these days that incorporate nature but its not impossible🫶

Stunning home....Austere...harmonious...The terracotta lamps in all the rooms are simply gorgeous & so are all the recycled wooden panels, doors & table... And the small pool looking more like a Jacuzzi is such a good idea...Exquisite place you created!

Paradise is the perfect word. I ADORE my Spanish house in Spain with its patio Andaluz and its AMAZING sea views and this sort of house would not suit my lifestyle as I'm an eclectic,colour loving maxamalist. I love wood my favourite bit was kitchen windows & table and bedroom door. I think i would have put some rails edge of where stream sits below just as extra safety precautions but otherwise loved what you've done here. I love plunge pool I would opt for same concept. I'm not about to dive into no pool when something else has gone in before me! Hence why i hate dark green/blue pools it has to be clear water for me to be able to see anything instantly! Lol

Thanks for the compliment! The base of the retaining walls are almost 1 meter wide, then they gradually taper towards the top. The retaining walls and foundation are the most important parts of the house (structurally) so we made sure they were really done right.
