That first necklace at 3:50 could be a lariat necklace if you took the jump ring off the one end. Or you could put a chain cap and clasp on the other end.

Yes...undyed coral is a thing! The dyed red (or blue) coral was white originally . Then there is very light pinkish white GEM coral called angel skin for $$$$$$, probably not that!

Yes I have come across angel skin coral (I orginally listed it as a strawberry milk glass! haha) but yeah the beads feel much more like bone!

To test for ivory or bone use a black light. They both turn bright white under UV light. Of course, you have to use other methods to differentiate between ivory and bone,.

OMG, that snake wraparound bracelet is so unique. For the Austria Crystal brooch, would you replace those dead darkened stones before you sell it or would you sell it “as is”? I am not going to replace the stones because it doesnt look bad to me. It actually looks more like smokey stones. It some were bright and some dead, then maybe I would replace

When you harvest rhinestones, what do you do about the ones that are really stuck, like with strong glue? Is there a way to get them out without damage?

so i will squeeze the metal with pliers around the rhinestones gently. it usually allows the rhinestones to pop out

How do you figure out it was yak bone?

I actually have another piece that is by a designer who used yak bone often. I compared it to that and also what I found online. It is a tibetan style piece and Tibetan jewelry often uses yak bones and have meaning.
