Your work is magnificent Tanya!! All I've been doing is watch your videos as I'm recovering from brain surgery. You've given me the inspiration to keep going! I love my crystals and this just gave me another way to keep my crystals close by. Thank you! ❤

I Like this, ive seen it only once before, it looks good because, most of these double pointed stones are usually wire wrapped in the vertical straight upright, which is ok but it becomes very same old same old, and a bit boring looking, but this pattern is different, and it dose look good, its more interesting, and is a nice pattern, yours looks, good nicely done, good work, and as always i love your channel, your follower. i love that your so experimental with your wire work. I love watching your videos!! Your stuff looks so organic and and pretty! When i wrap i tend to keep things very tight and semetrical, but i LOVE this organic boho look so much... watching you has encouraged me to step out of my "neat and tidy" cumfort zone every once in awhile. Lol!

Love this!! I really like how you tied off the ends when you were making the bail. Attaching the two lower wires, to that one short wire, that then wrapped around the bail. It was very clean and just the perfect way to finish it! Tysm for sharing, I can't to try this in the morning 🥰✨

I love your work.and I appreciate you tutorials so much. I just want to say that crystals and stones are beautiful but they have no powers. They are made by God and they are special to the eye but not to the spirit. Thank you again for your lovely tutorial ❤

Actually NYCGirl, crystals DO have energy! Piezoelectric for one...and while they nay not have ' powers' ( as you say) their beauty ( created by God/ The Source) is a power in its own right... Think of ALL that is made from these crystal minerals that have been mined and used by Man for Centuries!!! Amazing!! Have a Blessed Day!🌹

Hi Tanya! I happened upon your channel a few weeks ago, and you don’t know it, but you’re my new best friend. I absolutely love your talent and spirit and the way you share and inspire. Confident yet humble. I started making copper links 12 or 13 yrs ago and I was so hooked on creating new links for chain! Every spare moment I’d be playing with wire, even at night by the light of the tv. My jewelry path took a couple turns but I’m happy to be back with metals. I enjoy using the torch for balling wires and am trying to learn about fusing Argentium. I’m enjoying your videos and am getting so much even from the ones I don’t intend to follow. So many ideas and tips. I heard you say that you use electrical wire and would love to know why. Also, i use my tumbler a lot, for hardening metal and polishing but I haven’t heard you mention it yet. I’d be lost without it! I am also into meditation and listening to all different KZbin recordings that help me focus, create and even sleep better. Anyway, thank you so much for making your videos and being such a kind generous human being. ❤ Lisa

Thank YOU, Lisa!!! I never use tumbler, although i have….i think i should start using it. I have everything, even shot of metal bits. I use electrical because it was donated, started with one batch, now i have tons 😂 It’s great, because it is bare copper, so i can patina, and I truly love that vintage look How u use tumbler? Do u clean with anything after patina, or u drop directly in tumbler???? Thank You ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@LSM20549 ай бұрын
@@4girlsjewelry I tumble everything except chain and thin (higher than 20ga) headpins. I am still trying to figure out a way to tumble patinated chain without it tangling. I tumble all my earwires (sterling or Argentium) for 2 or 3 hrs to harden them and smooth the ends. I can never seem to file the ends smooth enough. Everything I make out of metal (except soft-soldered pieces) gets a good tumble. A brief tumble removes just enough patina, but if it’s something I want to harden I tumble it naked for a couple hours, patina, and then tumble a little while longer. It’s also great for cleaning firescale from the torch, but again, just heavier gauge items. If you have a tumbler and steel shot play with it! One thing ive found is that people tell you to add a few drops of Dawn to the water, but I use a product called Shine Brite that works much better. I use novacan stained glass patina and about 15 minutes is good for rubbing off the right amount of patina. I’ll be interested to hear how the tumbler works for you! Lisa

This is beautiful, I always struggle with an interesting way to do those crystals. I think yours has a look like the Eiffel Tower. Which I love 💕

Great way to use crystals. I would use a heavier base wire. When you were making that, I envisioned a long drilled bead with a big copper ball in each end, I guess you would have to glue them in. Like a Dzi bead. I would love to hear Lake Michigan. I haven’t been there in so long. I used to be a junior clothes wear buyer, we used to make trips to Chicago to the Mercantile Mart back in the good old days.

This design of your is amazing! (all of yours are). I haven't wire wrapped since end of last summer...been in a slump...lol.....this is going to be the design i try first probably this week! Also, I live in near Buffalo NY near the shore of lake Erie and i also find that going by the water calms me down. It is the sound yes, but I read it also has something to do with the release of positive ions that are released as the water moves that is calming and invigorating! Thank you for all you teach us. Much Love! P.S....If you have never been to see Niagara Falls....check it out!...Amazing we go there a couple times a year..only 25 min drive from where i live.

Great idea Tanya ❤. I have some side drilled crystals that need to be wrapped. I have done silversmithing and lapidary. I made my own cabachons. Lots of work but lots of fun. I belonged to a club in sun City Arizona. I'm a snowbird from Ontario Canada. You might want to try some leaf earrings. Very simple and light. I used 30 g sheet copper. I'll try to send you a picture on Instagram. Thanks for sharing your talent and ideas 😊

Looking forward to your wave sound video. I like your talks. Like becoming your friend. So...since you asked, and you know I love you, this is the hardest thing! I really love the design. I can't get my herringbone straight I also cannot get the 'cradle' to center on the crystal. Any suggestions? I've made 5 and only one was even near successful 😂 😭❤

Maybe anneal ur wires? Only ones u would do herringbone with, that might help also later with shaping… i think 💭 cup arrived from Ukraine ( i have 2 of them) it was my birthday present from my daughter, and i always, always drink from it… i know she othered on Etsy

Maybe u could play th “white noise” during one of ur videos..nature sounds, esp rain, is so nice to listen to & it has to be better than th music UTube chooses to play..I find on those videos I have to turn down the sound to concentrate on ur video..I am a “visual learner”..🤦♀️ I was wondering if on 1 of ur videos u could go more into th process of putting ur jewelry in th tumbler to shine & polish..I subscribed to ur videos from th 1st one I watched & I don’t think I have missed a video on that? I binge watched them all & make my returns to them regularly as I am trying to learn..I do like ur style.. 🤗

Love your ideas Tanya, but when I find a new project not that easy, it is just more discouraging when you say how easy it is. This one I am struggling with. Can’t seem to get the herringbone nice and neat with such a thin ‘main’ wire, so can’t get one finished nicely at all.
@4girlsjewelry9 ай бұрын
Use little thicker wire maybe. Or i would work hardened wire before using it. It could be frustrating. Because I work with wire now for 5-6 years, i think i can feel them, and they always behave for me. Just start slow- im sure u will do it… and please let me know ❤️
