I’m heading to my homeland soon and the colours of the Scottish countryside are amazing. The lilac heather, green firs, white sand and mountains. Inspiration comes when you travel

Yes, making jewelry is healing - creative and meditative. I love the idea of adding a more healing layer into the videos. I love music from indigenous cultures. When I cannot understand the words, you have to listen to the emotion of the tune - and this lets the imagination come into our worlds. I also love the organic look - it gives us permission that what we create does not need to be perfect. When nature makes flaws we usually see beauty. Please keep posting I look forward to seeing what you are making each week now. 🤩😍

Wow! I really love the first link. The other one is gorgeous too. I will definitely be using this idea for gifts. I start early making Christmas gifts for the next holiday. I will love to see where you get your ideas. You are wonderfully creative, and I need some inspiration. I agree about the healing. This is a tough world these days and I wish everyone could have a little corner of peace somewhere everyday for themselves for at least an hour. It helps you deal with life so much better. As always Tanya, thank you so much for sharing your gift.

That sounds like a great idea! I would love to see other things. I love your jewelry tutorials but I also like to see what inspires you. My husband passed away in 2016 and I thought I was going to loose my mind so I decided to do something I have never done before so I tried to make some jewelry, I only made a bunch of earrings, 1 necklace and 1 bracelet, I tried the wire wrapping but I couldn’t seem to do it and I just gave up. I moved onto crocheting and I loved it but my neck didn’t so I then moved onto crafts like making wreaths, wall hangings anything that I could glue together and paint then my son and daughter-in-law bought me a Cricut and I started making t-shirts, flowers and then faux leather earrings and I made my then 2 yr old grandson a few bow ties and a monster wallet, I made phone pouch/purses. I dabbled in paper crafts, sewing, painting, paint and glass canvas art and now back to jewelry 😂 anything to keep my mind occupied, very therapeutic. I can’t wait to see your Thursdays videos! 😊 Stay safe ❤❤❤

I always love to hear the inspiration behind the design. I am very much inspired by nature, rather than architecture. That is what drew me to your channel, because of your easy way of creating without worrying about rigid structure. And, of course, any videos of your birth country would be wonderful!

I would love to hear about your inspiration and your journey with jewelry. For me, creating jewelry gives me a feeling that I still have something to give. Since I lost my ability to work and to drive and to live a normal life the only thing I had left was my creativity. This led me to jewelry. It stimulates my mind and keeps my hands busy, it is very healing.

@stlounsbury Жыл бұрын
I love this link. Thank you so much. I did a little change.. I took about 12 inches of the thin wire and wrapped it wide around an 18 gauge piece until it was all in a loose spiral. Then I pulled it gently almost to the original length. Then I wrapped it around the cardboard form. The rest, like you did. It’s sturdy too when you lightly tap with a rubber mallet like you do.
