If you don't do some adjustments to the bezel before stone setting, you will probably have extra metal at the tip, which will make for a messy looking bezel setting. I will show you how to set pear shaped cabochon stones in bezels settings to their best advantage. Although the pear shaped bezel setting shown in this video is 22k gold, the bezel setting technique is identical for silversmithing or goldsmithing.
