Growing up in a strong Jewish environment Kirt felt his Jewish life was mostly going through the motions, devoid of a personal connection with God. But after telling his family about his faith they locked him up in a psychiatric ward against his will. But even in the storm he found hope and faith and finally found a strength from the inside out.

I can actually see this from a simply rational standpoint--as someone who believes in nothing supernational or fictitious. If I walked around saying that I though that, for instance, there was celestial teapot in the sky who was my lord and savior (and adapted your book to my imaginry teapot, most people would rightly think I had a bit of cable missing on my parachute cord... I can testify that in many experiences of being demonically attacked, the very named had those devil's flee from me, so there is power in the name Jesus. It's about the heart....Jesus knows the heart. There are many translations of the name of The Son of God... Jesus knows this. If the Holy Spirit leads you to call Him by His Hebraic name, be obedient. God bless you!

As a jew raised in a secular home I can agree 100% with Kurt. We had relatives over for Rosh Hashana ,Yom Kippur, and Passover. As the elders died and the cousins grew up there was no one to come over on the holidays. I saw the movie Gospel of John and it blew me away how jewish jesus is and was. Never looked back just came to the conclusion that Yeshua is the messiah. All the jewish apostles who died horrible deaths and didnt make a cent off of it they saw the resurrection and the assention. @Reginald Uka I've heard that bothers a lot of people... I look at it this way. Jesus was talking about not making anyone your master. I for one will call Kurt Schneider, Rabbi but he is not my master. It's really the intent behind the word. Don't call someone your master is quite straightforward. But the title of Rabbi to me only indicates his position in the church. It's like the title pastor or preacher only more Jewish. And I've definitely read that bit in the Bible and like I said I feel like King Jesus is saying don't make anyone your master but Him. Back then rabbi was used in that manner. It just doesn't have the same meaning it used to. It doesn't have the same importance that it once did.

Hopefully you addressed or referred to your own father as Dad, never your Father... And never called your teacher at school... a teacher. And there are so many other titles of distinction and education such as Doctor, Professor, and President albeit they were not mentioned in the verses. But if you do fail one iota... then you become a hypocrite, especially when you discipline others for their wrongs. Mat 7:1-2 Judge not, that ye be not judged. All should be careful about what we pick at or on with our brothers and sisters... We should reserve ourselves... And concentrate on the most important issues. Because assuredly... There is not one perfect person here on this earth... doing everything correct to the last tittle. Hiya, being Jewish is difficult because we don't understand how blessed we are. You got the Messiah who came to make us complete. So we didn't have to do all the rituals. He was the Fulfillment of the law, Yeshua Ha'Mashiach.

wow ! I wish you could have shared more about what happened after you came out of the hospital. I too am a believer in Jesus and became a believer as a young person in an unsaved home. It was 17 years before my mother converted. God is a good father who loves His children very much. Read the Holy Bible and ask God to reveal himself and teach you ,and He will.

Kurt, thank you so much for sharing your testimony! The Lord is usiing you to bring many, many more people to Christ. I grew up in an Islamic family. I had a vision as a child that I was somewhere very dark. Then this huge door opened and this incredible light shone in. It was so bright, I couldn't look at it for too long. Somehow I knew God was in the light and He was trying to get me out of darkness. Another time, I had a dream that I was lifted off the ground and into the sky I went. Years later, I heard the gospel through the Jesus movie by Campus Crusade and trusted the Lord as my Lord and Savior. It was very hard to tell my family about my conversion to Christianity. But, praise God, two of my family members are now also believers in Christ and we memorize Bible verses regularlty online. I pray the same prayer in Ephesians 1:18-23: I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might 20 which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
