holy cow! what a video. Truth-telling! Canadian, but born and raised in Latin America I love anything about that part of the world..and have always known there've been Jewish communities there (incuding Peru where I was born and raised) and want to know all about them! ..and when he lit the gas oven for the "kineshanadas"and his face!...heart broke right open and started crying without even quite understanding! Powerful! Thank you DW! the world needs to know and hear this..from a young comic/musician artist like Daniel!

This is the first time I have not enjoyed a DW video. I don't know, maybe it was too ethnic. I can just see watching the video that says I'm a whitey I'm a whitey I'm a whitey I'm a lady I'm a whitey and I'm whitey. I find that rather boring. But I do still think DW has some of the best documentaries out there. Although they definitely missed on this one in my opinion... This seemed to be missing the educational value that I cherish on this channel.

I can't believe that DW found these people to represent the majority of Jewish population in Argentina. I'm trying to keep my mind open but she was laughing about her father being kind in an explosion 1994. Something is not real. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the people in Argentina are different.
@zokissima2 жыл бұрын
My thoughts exact; I can't believe this guy is a "representation", as he is sooooo far removed from the Jewish friends I have all over North America, and he seemed quite apathetic and making all sorts of silly jokes, and kind of a poor attitude towards the magnitude of history.

My mom was looking through the window of a real estate store, she was looking a house, the price was 24000US$, a two-story house, and she looked us and said “Il will never give both of you a house, but I swear for my life at least Il give both of you an education” I was a kid I didn't get it. The guest's comment about the 20 opinions reminded me of an old joke. "If two Jews were shipwrecked and landed on a desert island and one was Orthodox and the other Reform how many synagogues would they build? Three. One each for themselves and another that neither of them would set foot in. Back in the 1960s I worked after school for an Argentine political refugee. This was in Miami. He was running an illegal machine shop out of the house two doors down from my house. It was quite and extensive set up for a house, two lathes and a mill which are quite large and heavy. On Saturdays we would clean up the shop in the morning and then he would have friends come in. He was an Argentine but some of his friends were from Uruguay andOther than that some of the friends had German roots. One had blonde hair. He was named Pedro Mueller. They were friendly gatherings and I was invited to stay. I learned to drink Yerba Mate and listen to Eduardo Falu records. One thing I didn't understand at the time was their anti-Semitism. It seemed that each country's problems could be blamed on the Jews. Other than that they all were good people and enjoyable company.
