Cultural exchange seems to be a fearful thing to many, while demanding everyone learn about them. I accept differences in people. What I don’t accept are others who dictate who I am, who I should be, what I should believe. I was never raised in any Jewish culture. I only know the few Passovers and a couple menorah lightings. I never went to Sunday school or was confirmed. But I don’t feel less. I’ve met a few intolerant what I call super Jews. I knew one who said he’d never marry outside the religion. Who did he marry? A Christian! My brother married a Christian, my cousin married a Catholic. My maternal grandmother refused to attend because my cousin married in a Catholic Church. Funny thing about grandma. I experienced antisemitism in community college pre-pandemic and people were very hesitant to condemn the woman who made those statements to me. Two people told me that they needed to know the context to decide whether this woman’s statements to me were anti-Semitic, even though I gave them the fucking context prior. One of these two people was my counselor and both of them are Muslim, or at least the descendants of people who immigrated from Muslim-majority countries. You don’t need to go to an Ivy League school nor does Israel have to be at war with Hamas to experience this shit.

Who os funding them, and how they are affecting the students of our nation. Any college or university found taking money and accepting influence from questionable nations or companies should ne defunded by the US government and cut off from participating in the Student Aid and Student Loans programs until they can show that there is no longer any money or influence on their Campuses. This includes firing teachers who have been shown to influence students with ideas the questionable entities promote.

I’ve read recently that certain wealthy Wall St donors are threatening to punish ivy league schools financially for the anti-semitic positions being taken by faculty and student groups. Frankly, this isnt enough. The positions being taken by these professors and student groups are rooted in certain ideological perspectives, currently dominant in academia. Specifically, those rooted in a worldview informed at its root by marxism & critical theory, and a view of relations btw groups as being defined by oppressor & oppressed. It should be a matter of grave concern that they are attempting to spread these ideas into primary education through their control of the teachers unions. And indoctrinate these ideas in a quasi authoritarian, gospel truth manner upon kids whose brains are still developing. And hide it from their parents to boot. The ultimate aim of which is of course to produce a population of people who will be electorally responsive to someone like Rep. Ocasio-Cortez in a Presidential election 15-20 years from now. But along the way, they will create in the general population what you currently see mostly contained to college campuses Its long past time for liberals to awaken from their passivity in the face of leftist stupidity. More celebrity liberals should publicly speak up like Bill Maher. And wealthy alumni of these colleges should not just seek to punish what is merely a symptom, but should target the root of the problem, the neo-marxist philosophical hegemony. With their ability to withhold donations, wealthy alumni are in a position to force colleges to protect free speech and diversity of opinions. Parents of prospective students can exert pressure as well, by refusing to allow their kids to attend schools that don’t respect free speech and ideological diversity.

If proPalestinian really cared about Palestinians, they would have spoken up when hamas used to for the personal bank accounts of their leaders or to build terror tunnels and procure weapons instead of hospitals, housing, schools, desalination plants, sustainable energy, and economic development and procuring medical supplies. I haven't heard one proPalestinian demand hospitals relocate like Israel's hospitals had to. I didn't hear one proPalestinian speak out against hamas blocking the roads used to evacuate. I didn't hear one proPalestinian demand hamas give its electric generators to hospitals and share its supply of food and water. There wasn't much outcry when hamas murdered its rivals. And there's silence for the situation of Palestinians in Lebanon. With all the billions in aid given to it, Gaza could have been an international tourist destination instead of a cesspool of hate.
