Mrs. Binzer is such a beautiful & courageous survivor. For her to give her testimony took so much bravery. She is amazing & inspiring. Her words give hope, that no matter what one experiences in life, it can be overcome.

For Irene to be such a loving, caring, decent human being after the horrors that she experienced during WWII is just remarkable. It was so brave of her to tell her story. Her family should be very proud of the way she came forward to be interviewed after such soul searching. She was a beautiful young woman and her beauty grew with age. Truly an unforgettable interview.

She 's an incredible woman to still have such a warm personality after what shes been through... It's troubling to know that there's so many people that hate others today, these things are still happening today, it feels like it can happen again, anywhere...

Yes with this new administration. Cancel culture, censorship, 2 tier justice system - crimes ok for some,, defund police, wokeness to extreme, pushing white privilege/guilt ideology on people. Irene was so remarkable- it's amazing that she overcame this horror the way she did.

With such a brutal life story that she almost decided Not to share with the world, I am so glad Irene had a decent and respectful interviewer. In other Shoah survivor testimonies, that isn't always the case.

Yes, I could hear the wind too. Kinda spooky as she was talking about the horrors she went through. Did you also hear the train whistle blow ? Such a awful experience she endured.

Very accurate to it, it feels. That sound can be unnerving or calming. I found it both in these. One of the things I admire about these testimonies is they typically feel sandwiched. Beautiful start, aka childhood, horrific middle and then we circle around to the beautiful family of the survivor and how they have persevered. Of course not all are like this and not all do but I can picture the music with either. I find thunderstorms primarily beautiful but somewhat melancholic. I'm on a tangent I guess but I'm so thankful and lucky to hear their testimony and be on the edge of their life times!

@@atlanticsender were you there? It's so heartless to criticise the survivors of these horrors. Have you thought that years of suffering, fear and nutritional deprivation might have caused them to be confused and forgetful at times?

@@janetblanc7658I have studied the Holocaust for years, I have an incredible empathy and love for the survivors, their ordeal was horrific. However there is academic research into a survivors subjective experience as opposed to the objective. A fact, some have embellished their experience. I have watched dozens of testimonials and 95% break my heart. The problem is due to the horror of the Shoah, we regard them all as wonderful, brave and courageous, but some were not. They/We are just human, with all our frailties and faults. We think it wrong to call out a survivor when we believe their story to be somewhat embellished, and that in itself is wrong. Do some research
