this is one of the best interviewers I have come across better than any I heard to date

Each one of these testimonials I listen to am always amazed at the variety of experience and the odd twists that allow people to survive. So great that they got Yvette and all the others on film for the coming generations.

Amazing woman! She looks much younger than her actual age. What a complexion. Great interviewer.

I like this Survivor. She put the interviewer in her place." I don't remember!" But she remembered what was important to her. She told of what mattered to her. She didn't let this interviewer waste time with ridiculous questions. She told her story her way. And this is how the interview should be. What a silly interviewer! But this Survivor made it a good testimony!

The interviewer was not trying to waste her time. She is asking questions that the Shoah Foundation asks them to ask

Why is this interviewer whispering instead of talking? I can hardly hear her questions in my headphones and I have an excellent hearing!

She mustve had nice parents and a reasonably happy, uneventful of difficulties, childhood to not recall her youth.

Didn’t get much from this interview. I have no earthly idea what is wrong with saying half the time. She described basically nothing except that she set an a room for most of the war, had no mistreatment except malnourishment, which was horrible in itself of course, but her interview had no description of any kind. Come to think of it she never even mentioned the word Hitler, so I think her upbringing was such that she was in there twilight zone and still is concerning the war. I have no idea what she went through. Pretty much boring. And I think that’s what the war was for her. A boring experience waiting for it to be over with. No persecution particularly. She lost her family. But I really don’t know anything that happened to her.

Ok , well yes one of the more challenging memorial testimonials to listen to but for me it was interesting because of all the history of France during WW2 EG Vichy government and then later how Paris was just spared being demolished

I'm glad she made it she's soft spoken she's from the old school n doesn't let anyone into her horrific life after the Nazi's send them to camps that killed her beloved parents. her happy life as she knew it was destroyed n tries to keep it personal. And doesn't say to much of her train experience ,she doesn't want to fall apart this interview is painfull for her she agonis speaking about something she blocked out , is most difficult for her u have to remember she grew up with adults, an was very close to her parents n speaks with very Few words I have an Italian friend , she married al Capone's lawyer's son guzik n she reminds me of her .Don't say all she did kill bugs n little undernourished try not eating for 1,or more days let alone 6 months . Thank you for your testimony pretty lady best wishes to your descendants !!!

The interviewer was great… The interviewee you was the problem. The interviewer let her tell her story and tried to prompt her but she really didn’t have much of a story.

I'm 12 mins in and I HATE her aunt. Sounds like a mean destructive woman who cast a dark cloud Over her family.
