He has that free choice. You can hear him doing that in the 700 Club interview. You say "I suspect..." But you were not there. You are not even, probably, medical personnel. You talk about the 29 illnesses. Were you given legal access to those medical records? Of coursed not. You are free to have your opinion but the doctor and the medical records say he was dead for a really, really long time, 1 hour and 45 min. It is impossible for someone to be in cardiac arrest, as he was, for that long of a time and still survive, much less be normal afterwards. When Messiah was resurrected the Bible reports that some saw Him "but still did not believe." Friend, if you are going to be a doubting Thomas, go all the way. Look at the evidence.

There are four instances of people dying in the Bible and being raised from the dead: Lazarus, Jairus’ daughter, the widow whose only son died and Eutychus, a young boy who fell asleep while Paul was preaching and fell out of an open window to his death. They quietly got on with their everyday lives when they were raised from the dead. I wonder what they did? More than likely share the good news of the gospel. The accounts are in the NT. the Bible is singularly quiet on this. I think because the Lord doesn’t want us to focus on these things, instead let’s focus on sharing the wonderful news of salvation made possible by the blood of Jesus shed on the cross. Our sin offends a holy God. Dean should have talked more about repentance and sin. Our desire should be to grow in Christlikeness and in the wisdom and knowledge found in authoritative scripture. Nowhere does Dean talk about this. Accepting Jesus as Lord is a start but it’s more than that, it’s realising we need a Saviour and are dead in our sins. We need to be rescued from the wrath of a holy and just God and covered in Jesus’ righteousness.

Stefan. Did you ever think about this? What if He meant that no one has ascended up to heaven as of YET? There's two facts that you're forgetting about. The first being the word HAS. He said, "No one HAS ascended to heaven". And at that point, no one had. Secondly, the apostle Paul. Paul said that he himself ascended to the third heaven, and saw unspeakable things. He wasn't allowed to talk about them. He even said that he didn't know if the experience was out of the body or in the body. You asked if these people believe the truth of what Jesus said.
