The begging for forgiveness was the best part of the match. I just wish everything before it was more interesting. The Usos didn't need more time. With the time they had they spent it doing super kicks. If they did get more time , it would be used to do more superkicks. They say styles make matches. Two guys who have the same moves ended up not working well.
@wildwine64006 ай бұрын
He did. Realistically, that match was the pay off to a career as a tag wrestler. It took years to get to that point. Factoring that in, how can it not be a let down

@@codyjohnson4174 Unappreciative, judgmental and complaint-ridden? LOL the match sucked. If something is bad, it's bad. Two guys superkicking each other over and over doesn't make a good match, I'm sorry. And time has nothing to do with it. You don't say "we don't have much time so let's just stand there and repeat the same a bunch of times" unless you're highly uncreative or very lazy.

I still believe in you Jey. A bad match happens sometimes. I loved you both as a tag team for years and I was excited to see how you both were coming into your own. However you were asked a question and pivoted to Rock Vs Roman and the set up where Cody Sabatoged him(yes we know now it was true) though you obviously didn't mention that. I felt you did a lot of good mic work with Jimmy during Bloodline segments. The biggest issue is we were invested in the fight between you two and wanted to see that mic work those emotions and more then some awesome kicks. It was really cool seeing the whole Bret Hart comments and now how you are looking up a bit to The Rock too. My suggestion build yourself more than just the Yeet. I believe you and Jimmy will find a great way and are on the way truly. I want to see the emotional story with Jimmy Continue at some point. Also never forget those that came before you. The shade at times is noticeable

Jay's moveset is basic af. It's all same the 4 moves on auto-repeat. Jay has the screen presence, definitely over with the crowd and can cut a good promo but his problem he needs to have more arsenals in his bag. An argument can be made that Hogan, Cena, Goldberg only had 3 moves so why can't Jay? First of all three Hogan, Cena and Goldberg were jacked to the gills who looked believable that they can break a man into two halves. They gave the impression of having super strength and can body slam giants which they did in their respective careers. Additionally Hogan and Cena had brilliant wrestling psychology, developed their characters over years and cut brilliant promos. And when it came to work Cena excelled both Hogan and Goldberg in term of work rate and longer matches. But nevertheless all 3 of them were gimmicked wrestlers and the boys worked around their limited ability. But Jay ain't that big and muscular. So he has to develop moveset like smaller guys like Bret, Eddie, Benoit and Rollins. Plus his moveset is similar to Jimmy who is still stuck in mid tier tag team division. He can't have the same moveset as him anymore. Their match at WM 40 was the worst on that card. Jey needs to take a page out of Shawn Michaels on how he elevated his presence, promos and in ring work once Shawn broke off from Marty Janetty. No longer he was one half of Rockerz but a show stealer a main-eventer. Additionally he needs to retire the superkick in his matches. He just overdoes it in every single match. A minimum of 4 - 5 kicks as transitional moves or closes finishes but never a finish. Either use it sparingly or don't do it at all. He needs to respect the move like Drew MacIntyre does with Claymore or Sheamus with his Brogue Kick or Michaels with Sweet Chin Music.

I feel what the match was lacking was stakes. The main event was exciting because of the stakes, but Jey and Jimmy's match felt like nothing was on the line. They could have made it so the loser would be beaten so badly, they wouldn't be able to help Cody/Roman later on and that in turn might cost them the title. Or, bring in the father, Kish, and have both compete for their father's approval. Something... something had to be on the line.
@TheCalebBooth6 ай бұрын
I do agree it was a let down visually because they do have very similar move sets, however I think the majority of it being a let down was mainly do to poor timing & extremely poor buildup. There was almost no buildup and little story leading up. They separated them on different roster and then just through them into a feud like 2-3 weeks before mania

You know you’re over when people treat your moveset like it’s real life (Hogan, Roman, Cena,etc…). This is entertainment and a business, right now Jey is at the top and the fake fighting no life’s hate that he’s the one selling the most merch and not their Indy darlings who also spam the same moves. Stop talking about Jey not protecting the super kick when literally everyone on the roster does it and don’t finish the match. Can’t wait till these no lives find out that a Canadian destroyer actually used to end matches and wasn’t just spammed by their five foot nothing faves.

Jey Uso needs to do more moves. I remember fans used to make fun of Cena for having the ''5 moves of doom'' but look at Jey. All Jey does is Superkick, Uso Splash, Spear, Rock Punches, Samoan Drop. That's literally Jey Uso's whole move-set. He is entertaining and charismatic but boring in the ring.
@brocksells1976 ай бұрын
They just failed miserably to tell a story in the ring. Jimmy begging for forgiveness, and Jey being conflicted before being betrayed was fantastic. But otherwise, the match was flat with basic moves being lazily exchanged. I don't think extra time would have helped

When he comes back a sad broken version of his song almost creepy like hits and he doesn't come out. 3 weeks of this and nothing then on the 4th week he finally comes out mankind like mask maybe made up of his el generico mask. Ripped and unappealing. And he gets on the mic crying and saying everyone has betrayed him and that he has nothing that Strowman broke him and no one reached out no one cared about poor Sami. Then he laughs sadly poor Sami, who is Sami? who is Sami? You all want to know who Sami is!!!! Sami is no more!!! Starts crying more. Sami has gotten me nothing but pain and heartbreak.
