I wish Microsoft had invested in a Career Mode. From working as a pilot, flying passengers/cargo/aircraft deliveries, point to point, buying additional aircraft, maintaining aircraft, hiring pilots, taking on jobs around the globe centering on the range on your business. I was looking for that all the way back to Flight Simulator X. They had jobs, but once you finished them, that was it. AI is good enough these days to create flight tasks and jobs.

MSFS needs to add something like this. A mode where you have a reason to fly. They could do so much more than they do. They don’t even tell you how many hours you have flown per aircraft, they just give you a total for all.

@@glitchy1149 I mostly fly the Savage Cub I’m pretty sure it doesn’t have one. I’ll have to look at the X Cub and see if it does Edit: I found it on the Savage cub in the Tach under the RPM x100. I never would have noticed these if you hadn’t mentioned the ones on the Cessnas nice find! Beechcraft Bonanza G36 doesn’t seem to work. On door by left leg. Can’t seem to find it on other aircraft I fly. Husky, X Cub, TBM 930 😔

Most aircraft have an engine hours reading in FS2020, usually within the RPM indicator, or on the MFD, or a small readout on the copilot side, or even on the console to the right of the pilot seat. There's one or two which don't seem to have one, I couldn't find one on the DA62.

i had tried onair for about 6 months, not worth it at all! neofly is free and does the same, maybe the interface is a downgrade but thats not worth a monthly sub! in 6 months nothing really improved and there are annoyances, lack of missions, dumb missions, unannounced server restarts... sorry i gave it a chance but there is no way it is worth what they are charging for it!

@@oxOsicknessOxo your friend has better sense than you do! how is it inferior?? onair would be ok if it was free or a small one time purchase! i used it for 6 months, total ripoff! just the fact the you can at the push of a button, regenerate missions in neofly makes it 10X better right off the bat! can't tell you how many times i have been at an airport in onair to have no missions, or missions that aren't interesting, or that have the dumb "time constraints"! accept a mission now and come back in a couple days to actually fly it.... sorry, onair is trash! just suckers like onair!

i'm doing my own carreer in FS2020; When i bought the game back in december i wanted to have a mission to accomplish in the game to make things a lot funnier, so i started my journey from an airport near my home, flying across the whole planet to come back again to the same airport from the other side. Of course it would be too easy to use some passenger jet airplane so i'm doing it with normal planes like the Diamonds and the cessnas I live in italy, i started from there and now i'm already at Los Angeles

This Cessna Grand Caravan is equipped with a TKS de-icing system for flight into known icing (FIKI), which can clearly be seen on the leading edges of the wing, empennage and tail. In real life, a liquid glycol exudes from tiny holes in the titanium panels and goes over the wing to prevent ice from forming or shed ice. The liquid also comes out from the propeller and onto the windshield and fuselage. It’s definitely better than boots and the next best thing to bleed air. TKS panels are also on the tail of the Boeing 787-800 to help improve hybrid laminar flow control (HLFC), helping to save on fuel cost and carbon footprint. I used to work for the company, so seeing it on this plane and your channel brought me back.

I live 15 minutes from the tiny town of Double Springs, neato! Great content Jeff! EDIT- a van driving across a field next to the runway is, admittedly, pretty Alabama. You flew over the feed river for Smith Lake at the end, where you get a big mix of deep rural living and million dollar mansions on the lakeshore.

Series S is pretty pointless to get. For an extra $100 you can get a FAR more powerful PS5 digital version. If the Xbox is a must just save for the $500 and put it to the side until you can get yourself a console. The Series S has been in stores for a bit but again, it's not worth it.

7:30 The WT G1000 Nxi uses their own fully custom flight plan manager (similar to the CJ4) but currently it is not yet able to sync that one back to the default flight plan manager therefore your flightplan manually created in the G1000 does not appear in the stock atc etc. The workting title flight plan manager is supposed to replace the current default one in the future the Nxi is basically the testing environment for that.

Best way to climb on autopilot is to use FLC (flight level change) and set your climb by airspeed instead of VS. If you ever hit a downdraft and the plane can’t climb at 1000fpm then it’ll fly you right into a stall

This is exactly what I was missing back in 1984. Instead of taking an introductory flight lesson and starting down the road that has found me as an Airbus Captain so many years later after alot of blood sweat and tears I could have just skipped that altogether. Go get in a real airplane, It's possible, It's amazing, Especially a caravan, I flew one for a year and a half and it was a great airplane and a great job. The centerline should be under the middle of the airplane when you taxi . That's why it's the centerline. Technique only;)

@@peterbassey9668 hit “alt z” akd that opens the nvidia control panel…then on the left you see a button that says “filter”…,click that and then apply what he has in the description . You will lose about 5-10fps, but it looks far better and more crisp: cheers..✌🏼

I started a couple of weeks with Neofly too. Remember they also have the Neopad which allows you to track your mission within MFS2020. I loved the way you edited the video and made it concise and interactive. Could you one day roleplay making a ATS delivery to Denver Airport using FedEx Liverie and then flight the cargo on the Cessna Grand Caravan using the Fedex Liverie too? Does the Neopad work with SU5? I installed their latest version and the icon on the drop down bar has no picture, and the window that pops up is just blank.

Yesterday I was flying and it worked. It did appear blank in the tool bar. I believe when you start Neofly make sure you allow the permissions to private network if you get the window to allow network access. Sometimes I have tried to use it and it didn't work, it was blank. I don't know if it was giving me issues so I removed it to be safe

This caravan seems to be very floaty. Whenever caravans land they've usually got a bit of fuel, passengers, cargo, or at the very least a seating system that weighs a bit. It looks like you're gently setting down at 65mph, those babies often come in from 90-125mph.
