Obviously some major programming and accompanying computer power at work here. Good graphics. Having been a firefighter/EMT for 26 1/2 years, I could easily criticize this. I watched three firefighters die one night. That's a memory that never goes away. There are many variables in every fire situation. The danger never ends.

Those grey patterns are to show you how to spray and what direction you can’t just Spray a fire there’s a z direction and etc to put it out.. a lot of science goes into fire..

Interior fight looked amazing the only thing from real to sim is you can't see as good as in the sim but the more I watch the more I like. We have a Rosen engine and it's a beautiful apparatus

Main complaint: You do not fight an open area flame like that with a straight stream. You adjust the nozzle and open the stream up to a semi-fog pattern to cool the air while putting the wet stuff on the red stuff. You use a direct stream for distance such as spraying in an upstairs window or across debris. Incorporating the ability to spray a wider pattern fog would make this game pretty damn good.

Finally! A simulator game with a real siren! It’s a Federal Signal 640 Series. This game looks pretty cool! I really wish there was a sandbox mode, though, especially for such a big map. I really hope they make that a feature in the future.

Hmm as a firefighter, that size of fire the entire vicinity of the neighborhood would be covered in smoke. I just hope people don't get the wrong idea that being able to see as clearly in this game does not depict actual real world issues that we as firefighters are faced with. That's a very well involved house, very hot. I do like the fact that it's more involved such as tasking and working together to accomplish the end result I'm interested in trying out. Is this game still played much?

I'd suggest 3 things to the devs after my first few hours in the game, in no particular order: 1. Add a 1st person view while on foot 2. Allow players to move the nozzle a little bit independently from the actual view so that making spray patters doesn't turn you sick right away 3. Add a background sound for the SCBA (i suppose you get a bit of that "breathing effect" IRL while using it) also track-ir support would be a very welcome bonus, both while driving and while being on foot. Any particular place where we can get in touch with the devs for stuff like this?

Great looking game. In real life, you’d never go upstairs and fight fire going down stairs. Doing that essentially pushes fire on top of the other firefighter. Other than that, good job

I will admit I was skeptical when I seen this game popup the other day when it was released, and I was thrilled when he finally realized that standing straight up was probably unrealistic as hell lol One thing I will mention is how apparently the line can magically shut itself off.....like there is no hand on the actual nozzle itself but yet it opens and closes itself.......another thing id be interested to see is if there is the ability to adjust the water flow from the nozzle, such as into a fog instead of just simply a straight pressurized attack.

12:46 When you conducted VEIS (Vent Enter Isolate Search) on the Charley side of the house(back side of house), you wanna make sure to look outside the bedroom door for any other victims then close the door. Breaking that window introduced oxygen into the house and can cause that fire to crawl to the back of the house.

Here's a tip/tidbit of info for ya. When you're on an attack line, try your attack by using what I call "The TZO" pattern, basically you make a T, then a Z, then an O (repeating the pattern) with the nozzle, that "spreads" the water out a bit more to get a faster attack.

As a firefighter this game is pretty dope but who tf did the police dirty with that vehicle design @ 1:10 😂 I do think some of the tactics are pretty stupid though. Like it looks great but why are we setting up 2 ladders and THEN sending in firefighters into the same house that we're pouring thousands of gallons onto. That structure is gonna come down right on top of them. And also fire doesn't take THAT long to put out, it usually goes out as soon as you get water on it and it seems like the thermal gas layer has no effect on the player when he stands in it and the unplanned ventilation and leaving doors open seems to have to effect on fire behavior at all? I like that Alex brought up the 2 in 2 out rule though! IT LOOKS SUPER PRETTY THO 👍 I just think maybe they need to update this with someone who at least has been through a fire science course and they'd be golden. (Edit) After watching the ENTIRE video I kinda of understand the developers tactics more because Alex mentioned that they are European and usually have different kinds of structures that last longer in heavy fire conditions. I was looking at this game as an american FF cringing hard but it makes A LOT more sense now 😂 BUT STILL what's up with the heat not effecting the player in obviously very hot fire conditions? and standing up in the thermal layer without any problems or gear failure? 😢 AND SCBA's apparently dont need to be refilled at all?
