Just a little info: The livery has nothing to do with DB Schenker. DB is short for Deutsche Bahn AG which means German Rail Corporation. The DB has several subsidiaries such as DB Regio (regional transport), DB Fernverkehr (long distance transport) or DB Schenker (cargo and logistics). DB Schenker has branches for rail, air, sea and land transport but only focuses on cargo, not passenger transportation. This livery belongs to DB Autokraft which is a subsidiary of DB Regio that only focuses on bus transportation.

You can play the announcement and then turn it of imediatly. It will still count as if you played the hole thing. Also make sure to press ”Start drive” in the telephone whenever you are leaving an station!

Jeff you do want to keep the bus raise switch in the middle position. The low position lowers the bus temporarily help buses fit under low hanging objects and the high position raises the bus temporarily to assist with getting up steep driveways or over rough patches of road. In real life you get a loud constant warning alarm when you're in any position other than the middle. Also I believe the switch that looks like a steering wheel with two brake calipers is the engine brake that you have been searching for.

SCS Software are re doing German for ETS2, they have released the first part and if you think the map is good in this the then it's nothing compared to the improvements SCS have made. Probably the best representation of Germany in any game. On the subject of 1.32 (Trailer ownership update) it's currently in beta for ETS2 and will be for, given what they have said, a couple of weeks. At some point soon ATS will get the same treatment going into beta but nothing yet. The beta is available to anyone who owns the game on steam though they do sometimes release like a alpha build to a closed test team a week-ish before the public beta.

Flixbus is really good imo. Not as fast as the DB but waaay cheaper and more flexible times, i.e. they run nearly 24/7 in major cities. I had to take a bus at 2 in the morning from Berlin to Dresden once and I sat all the way up front with a beer in hand watching the sunrise over Dresden. They also have a new train line running called Flixtrain which is also very cheap and much faster.

Just some info about german road law: On the Autobahn it's super illegal to pass on the right but a lot of people still do it. So everyone doing it in Fernbus Sim is just a huge AI jerk xD Keep up the great work and greetings from a long time fan from Germany

Homerun3721 Jeff has nothing to do with DOJ anymore now that he has his own server he runs in OCRP. And also he said awhile back when he first started putting the OCRP vids out that DOJ has rules that if you are a part or run a separate RP server that I think you can’t be a part of DOJ anymore. So since Jeff started his he is abiding by the rules of DOJ and is enjoying his own server he started. He talked about all of this in one of his first videos of OCRP he put out.

24:35 those are not metres but kph. They indicate a new speed limit imposed to you with a sign that tells you why the reason for the speed change. For example, the one you passed at the time frame (the sign with the exclamation mark) indicates a generic hazard.

Why are you're hugging the left lane? IDK about US but in Europe yiu are supposed to use it only for overtaking and left turns, and you can get huge citations if you hug it

Well first things first, this is a sim lmao. Secondly, it’s not illegal to do so in the USA. It is still a passing lane but there will be no consequences other than other drivers hating you if you drive too slow.

It's a de facto 'rule' in the US. In Texas, you can get pulled over for staying in the left lane, depending on the cop. Most of the roads here are rural highways, where people don't really pay any attention to what lane they're in bc they usually aren't travelling far away. On interstate highways and main highways, which would contain mostly drivers travelling further distances, it's more common practice to use the left lane solely for passing.

Hey Jeff, I was wondering if applications for OCRP will be opening up again in the next couple of months or so? I've heard rumors on discord that the community is becoming "referral only" and that you would only be able to be considered for acceptance if you are referred by somebody already in the community, is this true?
