1062, fresh out of rebuild. 😊 April 27, 2022: 1056 and 1062 are the next F40s to be sent to mpi. June 13, 2022: 1056 and 1062 awaiting shipment from middleboro by CSX. June 17, 2022: Both units finally shipped from middleboro on CSX B726-04. June 19, 2022: Both units seen passing through Chester, Pennsylvania on the webcam at 0808 this morning on CSX B726-04. March 22, 2024: 1062 is officially in testing at mpi in black. 1062 as well. July 27, 2024: 1056 and 1062 shipped from mpi, heading back to Boston in regular MBTA paint. August 4, 2024: Both units now show in middleboro off of B725-02 this morning. August 6, 2024: Looks like the 1056 and 1062 are about to go into testing. October 6, 2024: 1062 is now in service. 1056 as well. Both are on the south side.
