Hi Jennifer! I liked this quiz and got 10/10. Here are some examples: 1) Many people applied for that plum job and they chose you. You really lucked out! 2) That's risky. You should back out before it is too late. 3) He likes to ramble on trivial matters. 4) I know it's challenging but I'm confident you'll pull it off. 5) If you don't abide by the law you may end up in prison. 6) The corrupt official clammed up about pay-offs he has gotten. 7) It's a difficult situation. Hopefully, everything pans out. 8) When I was a student some teachers were so monotonous and as dry as dust that I tended to nod off. 9) It dawned on me that our plan doesn't work. 10) I need some time to mull it over. Let me sleep on it and I get back to you tomorrow.

Awesome lesson I learned a couple of phrasal verbs today , I got 10/10 . Sometimes in sports teams luck out , even in finals , the other team could create the best and the most chances to score and thanks to your goalkeeper or your defense your team keep the sheet clean , and with only one goal attempt you score ! And win it all ! . I have seen NHL playoffs highlights, only one Canadian team in against three American teams in semi finals , I’ll be rooting for the Edmonton oilers for you Jen ❤️. You look ravishing ❤️ you look perfect for a wedding ring 💍.

Thanks Jennifer. I will take the IELTS test in march but I dont know if I can pull it off :( In the school I used to clamp up in every presentation but I worked it out when I spotted that I rambled on and the audience (my classmates) nodded off and yawned. One thing I dont bear when clients back out on at last minute aftermaths I dont know how a situation like it could pan out.. I was searching resources for improving my grammar I lucked out to find this channel Jennifer.. see you soon. BTW 7/10

Hi Jennifer, thanks for bringing up such useful expressions. I hate to be unduly pedantic, but I wish to hear if you had any particular reason to say "One day it just dawned on me that I need to change careers" as opposed to "One day it just dawned on me that I needed to change careers". Are they both grammatically correct?

Hello Jen, this perhaps is not about the subject, but could you explain the difference between Baffle and Puzzle?, like why aren't they interchangeable?, or are they?, I saw that baffle is to be completely unable to understand something and puzzle is to feel confused and slightly worried, but at the end of the day... translated into Spanish they both mean the same "Desconcertar" right?. "It puzzles me why she said that." "She was completely baffled by his strange behaviour." (sounds like she is confused too). I'm mexican, so i'd really like to know if "desconcertar" is the correct translation. Thank you in advance Jen or whoever can answer.
